I need a new office chair. I am really short, so need something that will fit me well. Also need good back support. Does anyone have a chair they love?

I bought a gaming chair for my ds and it was so comfortable, I got one for myself. I just got it off of Amazon so it’s nothing fancy, but it’s comfortable enough to sit in most of the day. It also reclines and has a foot rest that I can pull out. Definitely look at gaming chairs as a reasonable cost alternative.

I have a great deal of back and neck pain and looked for quite a while for a good chair. I finally decided upon an Aeron chair by Herman Miller. At the time I bought mine, there were a lot of businesses shutting down so I decided to get a used chair because new was so expensive. If you decide to get one, check for a used chair because the quality is excellent and I saved a lot by buying used.
They are a sturdy breathable mesh, not upholstered, so they wouldn’t be smashed down by someone else sitting on it. They come in several colors (I just went with black) and have different sizes for different height people. Mine has a terrific lumbar support and everything is adjustable from the height and tilt of the seat itself to the height and angle of the arms. It was a top-of-the line chair when the guy bought it. He was sad to sell it because it was so comfortable, but his wife had just had a baby and they needed the money. New they are going for up to $2,000 and I paid $250 for mine. I would suggest you get a fully adjustable chair as well because sometime just a few degrees of tilt takes the pressure off and makes all the difference in the comfort level.
My ex fiancé sat in mine and fell in love with it. He wanted to “share” it with me. No. It was too small for him (I am 5’ 4” and he was 6’ 1”) and I forbid him from adjusting it because I took considerable time making it perfect for my body. He ended up buying a used one for himself too.

I, too, have a used Aeron Herman Miller chair in black that I purchased from an online store for $650. I have coveted this chair for years and finally pulled the trigger and worth it. If you want the store name, send a DM. I would not recommend a gaming chair from Secretlab- really stiff and fabric not breathable.

Definitely check out used office furniture places if you have one in your area. They tend to have better quality than office supply stores at lower than retail prices.

Aeron chairs are way out of my price range, even used. I think there might be a used office furniture place in town. Will check that out. Amazon has a lot that have high ratings but it is so hard to know if they are good for a short person.

Many years ago I sat in my father's home office chair and fell in love with it-it was a bungee cord chair with arms. I ordered one for myself and have been using it ever since. I've short too (5' 3") and sit forward in this chair so I don't use the back part, but I can sit in this chair for hours and never get sore. BTW, I don't sit in it in shorts-that's not comfortable. Sadly in the years since lots of companies have started making these so the quality has gone down.
The price is reasonable though so I thought I'd mention it. They make them now with flat bungee cords in addition to the round ones. I suggest going to a store that has physical chairs and testing them out first though.
Good luck finding a comfortable chair whatever you choose.

We have 3 of the now you see it acrylic desk chair from crate and barell. It’s really a kids chair but we all use them. I have them at three desks around the house. Comfortable and not too big. Good support. Really pretty.

Try a gaming chair. I got one 2 Mother's Days ago and love it. Great with my back injuries.
Dd is getting one for Christmas.
Office Depot has some on a good sale and usually have a floor model to try.
Got dd's for $113. Normally $300.
