I know there has been a lot of recent discussion on clubs and I have a question - I'm looking for a club either regular or project life variety; but one that has some variety of media and product. I'm wanting to branch out of the "same ole way" process and this seems like a great way to step out of the box. Recommendations?
Thanks,

I'm interested in this too. I subbed with Studio Calico for ages but stopped when life got too busy to scrapbook. Now I'm almost through my stash and wondering where to subscribe when I get to that stage.

I would suggest doing a search of monthly kits and check out their past kits to get a feel for them. There are still quite a few kit clubs around so you should be able to find one that interests you. Personally, I like Cocoa Daisy, but my style might not be yours kwim?

Look on YouTube for kit share videos. Subscribers to various kits will go through the kit they just got so you can really get a feel for what's in them beyond just the pictures on a club's website. I've subbed to Citrus Twist before and really liked it, but on YouTube, a new one is Hip Kit Club and it looks good, too. As already mentioned, you just need to look around and find one that fits your style and only you know what that will look like!

Agree with your style may not be my style disclaimer, however, I will second Cocoa Daisy. I have subbed to a couple of other kits recently and I decided CD was a good match for me as they mix hot new collections (like Maggie Holmes Open Book) with smaller boutique brands like Freckled Fawn AND then they also have their own exclusive papers (2 per month), stamp sets and embellishments. I like this combination because I get a bit of stuff I couldn't buy elsewhere mixed with trendy stuff. They also tend to mix up the embellishment styles a bit more than some other kits I have subbed to lately and I REALLY like that. They offer adds ons as well. And if you really like mixing things up they have a kit called Project Art which you can sub to or buy a la carte which is a kit with different types of media to try...things like acrylics paints, texture paste, spray mists etc etc. I am not affiliated with CD in any way other than as a happy customer.

Hi! I second the girls opinion. There is a tread called KIT CLUBS I started because I had the same doubts myself. I ended up subscribing Cocoa Daisy. I am really in love with all the kits I got so far. To reach this decision I did a lot of research. In that tread I have mentioned, I added a list of all kit clubs mentioned on the posts. I hope it can help you. There you will find all the links to all the subscriptions.
Good Luck!!

I'm on the design team for Cocoa Daisy, but I think it would be a great choice for you if you are interested in a variety of styles and products.
CD has several kit options each month. You can subscribe to each one, or buy them individually. Sometimes some kits sell out during the subscriber presale, but Christine really tries to make sure there are enough kits left over for non-subscribers. I know it's just hard to predict what's going to be popular.
Each month there is: Main kit: scrapbooking kit with 12x12 paper, a few sheets of cardstock, embellishments and LOTS of exclusives. An exclusive stamp set, 2 sheets of double sided patterned paper and exclusive embellishments that vary each month -- wood veneer, acrylics, cork, die cuts, or flair.
Day in the Life kit: monthly pocket page kit. Each month there are exclusive cards and embellishments and stamp set, plus a nice assortment of a few cards from another brand, plus great small embellishments. I don't pocket page scrap but I buy this kit almost every month. You can subscribe to this.
Add-ons: there are three add-ons each month.. one with just patterned paper, one with paper plus embellishments, and one that has just embellishments/stickers/letters, no paper. No subscription, just grab what you love each month!
There is also a Project Art kit each month. This includes mixed media supplies and tools, ephemera or vintage paper, other fun stuff. You can subscribe to this, or just pick up a kit if there is something that really appeals to you.
Christine also carries a selection of supplies in her store, like stencils, mists, inks, etc. So you can always grab something that co-ordinates with the kits each month to expand your technique possibilities.
So, that's why I think CD would be a good fit for you. There are lots of ladies on the team that like techniques and mixed media, so there's always something to inspire. And with the option of being able to buy a few individual products or an entire kit, you can grab what appeals to you each month!

Does Cocoa Daisy have a referral option? Hmm... no, I don't think they do.
