I just made a big jar of raspberry and lime infused water. It's chilling in the fridge right now.
Do you have any recipes that are especially flavorful? What tips can you share for getting the most bang for your buck?

My favourite lately is 1 sliced cucumber, 3-4 sliced limes, add enough water to equal a gallon. The beauty of this is you can add more water as you drink it up. So you have a couple of days worth. Strawberries and Basil are really yummy too. slice the berries and chiffonade the basil I do add a 1/2 of lemon juice to 3 quarts of water.

Raspberry and Lime sounds great.
One of my favourites is Blueberries, Blackberries and Raspberries.

This week I made strawberry, lime, and basil. It's my favorite so far.

Strawberry and basil or mint and lime - YUM!
I've also had orange and mint at a restaurant and it was really good. Very fresh, but still definitely had a citrus flavor without the pucker of lemons or limes.

Do you just leave the stuff in the pitcher with the water?

These sound really good. I am a terrible water drinker and so far I was drinking cucumber and mint, but I need a change. Thanks

I also have been loving strawberry, lemon & basil. I just picked up some mint today so my daughter could do cucumber & mint. Grapefruit & rosemary is also on the list.

I love these ideas! But, is there a special trick to making the infused water? Do you use a special kind of jar or pitcher to make/store the water? Leave the flavoring ingredients in with the water? Don't the herbs get kind of mushy and yucky?

Don't the herbs get kind of mushy and yucky? We have this water pitcher and have been using it for a couple years now. Great tool to make delicious infused water! My favorite is strawberry & lime. DH just asked me to buy him a fresh jalapeño to combine with strawberries. Not something I would ever drink, but does sound interesting!

My favorite is pineapple (sometimes with a bit of strawberries). I use the leftover core of the pineapple to put in the water. So good, now I'm off to buy a pineapple.
