After I said I was doing well after my booster and flu shot I crashed. Zero energy so I am lying in bed on a heating pad. I like to go to Pinterest most days to check out quilt patterns, meals and whatever strikes my fancy. Lately it has been how to attract Cardinals to your backyard.
I also found a hack to link Pinterest with my Paprika app to save recipes.
Anyone else still checking out Pinterest?

Yes, I do look at Pinterest, but only when I want to find something specific, not to browse any more. There are too many adverts for it to be fun these days.

I do check for a few things still but don't go daily. Mostly recipe, knitting and card making ideas and when we were planning an outdoor kitchen I pinned a lot of ideas.
About the only thing I pin regularly is recipes.
I was thinking the other day that I might clean up/delete some boards and reorganize I recipes I want to keep. Anything knitting related gets saved to Ravelry and I rarely actually pin card making ideas.

Anyone else still checking out Pinterest? No, not really. Those links go bad way too fast for me. When I want to find what people are making, I tend to go search various groups on Facebook, or check out YouTube.

The only things I pin are crafting inspiration, but the boards are set to private

I do, particularly for recipes and scrapbooking ideas. Sometimes I will look for something fashion related. I find a lot of decor ideas there as well.

I do a lot of my vacation research on pinterest. So many blogs to read. ETA: also search outfit ideas, recipes, and home ideas.

I look at Pinterest for funny memes to post on Facebook ... sometimes for recipes ... that's it!

No, I stopped several years ago. I used to look at it daily, but something changed (don’t remember what now) and I stopped going to Pinterest. I can find lots of inspiration on IG using hashtags to search.

When I'm looking for something specific, yes. Recreational browsing, now. Like everything else, it has turned into a place to sell things.

I tend to use it a lot from October through early Spring. Then during the nice weather months I'm busy outside more and I'm not doing the things I tend to go browsing Pinterest for---new recipes, craft ideas, genealogy tips, home project ideas, etc.

It is still my go to spot for various inspirations. Spent a lot of time there lately while trying to decide what I want to do for this year’s card and for Christmas decoration ideas.

I haven't really looked at Pinterest in at least a few years. I just got tired of it. I'd find recipes that looked good, buy a ton of ingredients to make them and they would be nasty. Other things I'd pin but the link wouldn't actually take me to what I wanted to see. Sometimes the page would refresh and what I was looking at I'd never find again. So I just found it more annoying than anything else.

I use it for school all the time. Most times I don't need the link just the photo to do the project or idea with the kids.
There is literally not a week that goes by that I don't reference it.
I still use it for scrapbooking too, again I don't need the link to work of I can see the picture.

Recipes, gardening and free motion quilting. I may look for hairstyles if I want a new cut. I have a friend who sells Stampin' Up! and she has over 20,000 impressions on a new card she posted with a new stamp set a couple of months ago. She gets more traffic from Pinterest than anything.

I do for card making and crafting. I really just want the pictures so I can print them out. I have a couple of glue book/journals I keep for inspiration. I don’t and never will use IG or TikTok. I do like YouTube for instructional videos.

Yes, I still use Pinterest! I browse for all sorts of things. I have a ton boards because I like sorting things down. I print recipes I like after a few tries. It’s still a fun place to kill time when I can’t sleep or have a few minutes wait for appointments, etc. as for ads I just don’t click and pass them quickly I don’t really even see them anymore!

I do. I spent a bit of time organizing my boards, and I find they’re still a good resource. Especially my recipe pins, household and craft ideas.

Nope, I got rid of it when one of my browsers (Opera) added its own pinboard feature. Pinterest, as has been said, had too many ads, bad links, etc. My browser pinboards I can edit and organize way better than Pinterest, even loading just a photo or adding my own photo to the pin.

I still like to browse on Pinterest. Definitely not as often as previously, but still maybe a couple times a week.

I use Pinterest almost daily. I search recipes, teaching strategies for work, crafts, and house design and decorating.

No, I stopped several years ago. I used to look at it daily, but something changed (don’t remember what now) and I stopped going to Pinterest. I can find lots of inspiration on IG using hashtags to search. The change that killed it for me was the fact that my feed was 100 percent suggested by Pinterest, and, I no longer saw pins of the people I followed. STILL ticks me off that they did this. I hardly go in at all anymore. Whoever is in charge there should be fired. They ruined a good thing in record time.

I loathe Pinterest with its stupid obfuscation of links and overly curated content. It clutters search results, superseding websites with actual content. I'd be happier if it didn't exist. Can only imagine how much worse it is for folks who don't run a suite of privacy/blocking extensions.

Yes, I do look at Pinterest, but only when I want to find something specific, not to browse any more. There are too many adverts for it to be fun these days. This is me too. If I’m looking for something specific craft wise, recipe wise, decor wise it’s a quicker search than Google because I can visually pick out what I’m looking for. But I don’t really use it the way I used to 11 years ago when it was new and had no ads and I was house hunting and looking for lots of ideas. The worst part is that the ads aren’t even for stuff I have the remotest interest in. No, I don’t need to see ads for hair dye, clothes, shoes, food, cleaning supplies, makeup or feminine hygiene products, LOL. They’re totally missing the mark here.
