And your phone rings. Please step out of the room before having a full on conversation on speaker phone. I really don’t want to listen to your conversation with your teenagers.

When you are at work please don't Facetime with your teenager about what kind of fast food you are buying for your free loader in the same room with me.

It is so annoying to have to listen to the conversation. But especially when they start looking at you for verification of what they are saying. Like really I don't care what you are saying!

We told one of the women at our long-time crop weekend she could no longer bring her friend. The friend was on the phone with her DH and teens what felt like the entire time. Most of the time with DH was yelling at him.

I generally turn my cell phone off at a crop...but one time I did that and DH called!the!store! to find me and see if I was going to be home in time to make dinner. OMG. I kept my phone on after that but I would never ever sit at a crop table chatting on my phone. Go somewhere private where you won't bother others. What happened to manners?
Now my mom uses her cell phone like a walkie talkie no matter what we try and tell her about phone usage. She facetimes people from the grocery store, etc...drives me nuts. So embarrassing.

If you’re next to me in any public bathroom, please don’t be talking on your phone or take it off speaking phone. At the very least, please for the love of all that is holy, please don’t talk about your rash that just won’t go away. Or the threesome you had least night. Or about you cheating on your boyfriend and how doing that to him is making you so happy.
Yes, these are conversations I’ve had the pleasure of being forced to listen to 😳

My big complaint is when people don't put their phones on vibrate or silence...especially when it's an obnoxious ring (at one crop some lady who got several phone calls had the Mission Impossible theme as her ring--that bell ringing opening still annoys me).

I do NOT want to hear cartoons, videos, videos games, you tube videos, speaker phone, facetime, other people's music, other people's loud conversations, etc... when I am in a waiting room, in the store shopping, in line, in a restaurant, out in public, etc.. People should stay off their phones, when it is their turn to check out, conduct a transaction, etc...
The worst in small waiting rooms.
If someone needs to keep their child occupied by watching something, then it should be done with earphones, earbuds or on silent.
If I need to take a call in public, I make it quick and try to be as quiet as possible. Usually I just left it go to voicemail, and return the call at my convenience. Not every call or text needs to be answered "right now". Another persons need for instant gratification is not my priority.

I hate it when someone takes a phone call in a room full of people and then says they can't hear the person they are talking to. Really? Now if I'm with a small group of people and someone gets a quick call, no problem. Quick is the key word. I very rarely answer my phone if I am with just one other person. I tend to prioritize the person that I am with. I know there are times that you need to take a call, but 99% of the time those calls can wait.
I am that person that hates having one sided conversations going on. This also applies to anyone's music, videos etc.

I hate sitting at a bar and the person next to me is watching youtube/tiktok with the volume up. Get earbuds or put it on silent. You are ruining my enjoyment of my beer.

I was in the public bathroom at work (just two stalls) and a lady walked in (talking on the phone). She PEED about a gallon of fluids (while still talking on the phone!). Sounded like a business call. I had no reservations flushing my toilet while she was STILL on the phone.

THIS! Why do people think it's okay to play videos or have loud conversations in crowded public places? I get so many dirty looks when I ask people to turn their volume down but I don't care! I don't want to hear their noise pollution. Same goes with music played at crops. I don't have the same musical tastes as most people so I don't want to hear what's being played. I normally either try and sit where the music isn't very loud and also bring headphones so I don't have to hear their music. If I'm with friends at a crop we'll bring our own speaker and play music at our table but we make sure other tables can't hear it if they don't want to.

Ditto all of you. Are these people simply inconsiderate or do they actually want people to hear their conversations? I’ve also noticed people walking through the grocery store playing music. Without airpods. We can all hear the music. Why???

I was in the Dollar Tree yesterday and this lady was shopping by herself playing music very loudly on her phone and singing as if she was singing in Sunday choir! She did this the entire time, even while she was checking out! She never even acknowledged the very nice employee running the register.
I was completely dumbfounded.

Yes! it’s so annoying. I always manage to sit by the women who’s helpless husband has to call every hour. Ugh. And turn down the volume. I don’t want to hear your text pings every second.

Sometimes she would be in a stall (sometimes using the toilet!) or sometimes she would be out by the sinks. It was sooo annoying!

I clearly haven't been out to a bar in awhile. People do this at a bar? Yup. It really drives me crazy. There is music from the jukebox, of course, and then people turn up the volume of their phones so they can hear the stupid youtube video over the music. I hate noise pollution anywhere. I hate, hate, hate televisions in waiting rooms. It is so inconsiderate. It makes me rage. I go to a retreat every year where a mother/daughter combo always has to have the tv on every minute. The first thing they do when they arrive is turn on the tv. One year a few of us hid the remote before they got there. Passive aggressive, but effective. We have gotten to the point now where we suggest that we don't watch tv all of the time. I come there to scrap and talk to my friends- I can watch tv at home.

I have been to a few crops with a particular person who brings her iPad and streams movies or watches sporting events without headphones while she works. She also speaks extra loud over the noise of her device to make sure she can be heard throughout the room. Personally, watching a tv show or movie while I crop is one of my greatest pleasures--when I am at home by myself! Why go to a crop if you are just going to sit and watch a movie? I don't understand. At least use headphones.

The worst is when you're in the washroom and someone is on their phone having a conversation in the stall while they piss/poop!

I hate listening in on others phone conversations. It feels like I need to say hello to whomever the person is talking to so they know they're on speaker.
My pet peeve is someone at the table listening to music w/out asking if it's okay. I'm hard of hearing & when the music comes on, I've now been isolated from everyone else at the table unless they are sitting right next to me.

The worst is when you're in the washroom and someone is on their phone having a conversation in the stall while they piss/poop! I have ONE friend that I am potty friends with... we have agreed if you gotta go, go... just flush after the convo. We've been friends for 35 years and travel together, so nothing really phases us.
