DH called!the!store! to find me and see if I was going to be home in time to make dinner. OMG.  I mean, it did make me LOL, but... yeah, DH would be in big trouble if he did that! I hate noise pollution anywhere. I hate, hate, hate televisions in waiting rooms. MEEEEEE TOOOOOO omg. And then everyone shouts over the TV (especially the people who need to take their phone calls, despite the "no cell phone use in this area, please" signs), and the whole thing just gives me a headache. TV on silent with CC is okay. |

I have been known to reply to people talking on their phones in the restroom or just start having a one sided convo with myself lol

Years ago I went to an annual crop organized on another message board. Throughout the weekend this lady's husband kept calling and you could tell from the one sided convo they were arguing. The next year she attended and was divorced and seeing another man (hence the arguing the year before!)
Just went to a weekend where the lady across from me had an earbud plugged in the whole weekend. She would answer the phone and do a lot of "uh huh, oh no, etc." Then she would play her music but hum and sing to it. We couldn't hear the music but could hear her.

I used to go to CM crops at a friend's house regularly, and I always was seated across from a woman who couldn't stop making these lip-smacking "mmm-mmm" noises every. time. she. ate. something.  I get twitchy just typing that. |
