Your Sunday challenges will be based on shapes. Today's shape is the rectangle. To meet today's challenge, have at least one rectangle on your card. Your twist is to use drops or dots. You can use Nuvo drops, Stickles, enamel dots, etc. If your are collecting points for the team challenge, your points are as follows: *Create a card based on the challenge: 2 points *Apply the twist to your card: 1 point *PLUS: create the card AND use the twist for a bonus of FIVE points! Completion bonus: complete at least one card for ALL the CARDtober challenges for a COMPLETION BONUS of FIFTY points. Here's my sample:  CARDtober #16 |

Beautiful card and great challenge justjac . I started out with a different idea , but didn't like it for this challenge. The rectangles were not very noticeable so I used that card for challenge#10 and created a new card for this. azcrafty Very pretty! I like the swirly stitching on the rectangles and the beautiful image. Linda Wow what a pretty background. What a lovely winter card in non traditional colors - very eye catching. justjac thank you for the rectangle challenge! Your panels are so pretty. I needed a birthday card for my pen pal who doesn't see as well, and I was inspired by all of the ladies' stitched things - so here is the result.

jjpeapea your card is so graphic. I love it. And the three dots in one corner adds such a nice touch. scrappyrabbit I love how you added your sentiments on the rectangles.

justjac, your card is gorgeous. I love the gold accents that match the leaves in your paper. You have love in the gallery. azcrafty, you really have a way with color. I love what you have done with this card. I left you love in the gallery. Linda, you made a beautiful slimline card. The use of the circle die cuts against the circle patterned paper is really artistic. I love the stitched border and the stitching on your circles. Sweet snowflakes taking center stage in your big circles! jjpeapea, that is a perfect card for someone who doesn’t see well. I show my cards to DH and have to read the sentiment to him. You were very thoughtful making a big sentiment. Very pretty and the stitching on your rectangles takes it to a higher level. scrappyrabbit, I always love the colors and patterns you put together. You do that so well. These cards are beautiful and will be loved by the recipient. You have love in the gallery. scrapnnana, what a beautiful Fall colored card. I love those butterflies. The postcard matted with the wood bark paper really stands out. Your butterflies are amazing. Such a classy card. The 2nd card is for this challenge. It started out as a Sheetload card, but I don’t think I will get the rest of them made this month so used it for this challenge. I used Nuvo drops, but I must admit that I have never put them right on my project. I put them on waxed paper and let them dry, then glue them on. I know I would smear them otherwise.
