Happy Tuesday! MichyM and I are sharing Tuesday duties; I've got you covered this week and MichyM will be back to finish out our challenges next week. Our theme encompasses scrapbooking supplies, as a lot of cardmakers are also scrapbookers. The challenge: create a card that includes NO stamping on the front (inside okay). For my samples I've used lots of leftovers of an old Simple Stories collection to create a simple note card set. It includes a mix of stickers, chipboard die cuts and graphic paper clips. The twist: create a card that uses NO white cardstock on the front (inside okay). If you are collecting points for the team challenge, the points are: *Create a card based on the challenge: 2 points *Apply the twist to your card: 1 point *PLUS: create the card AND use BOTH of the twists for a bonus of FIVE points! Completion bonus: complete at least one card for ALL the CARDtober challenges for a COMPLETION BONUS of FIFTY points. Examples:

Awesome challenge Ryann. I would have never thought to arrange small pieces of ephemera and stickers like this. I will have to try this. Thank you for the challenge and great idea.

Ryann , I love your not stamped cards! So balanced in color, form and space. I enjoyed looking through my treasures and then trying different combinations. Very therapeutic. I had to go 6x6 to make it all fit!

jjpeapea great cards for the challenge. It took me a few tries until i was happy with my card. I used a Spellbinders card kit that i just got on sale. To bring interest to my card I popped up some of the ephemeras, the sentiment is a puffy sticker and some epoxy dots. CARDtober # 18 by Azcrafty, on Flickr

azcrafty, I am liking how this challenge is turning out. I love your colors and your arrangement. Hoping your "tries" were like mine, rearranging stuff until I liked how it looked.

I have a ton of Graphic 45 paper scraps, especially from this one collection, but I chose to do a slimline for mine.

scrapnnana I like how the slimline dimensions let you spread your beautiful graphics. Beautiful.

I had to go 6x6 to make it all fit! Thank you! Your card trio turned out SO cute!! I especially love on the red card, the deer tucked inside the frame (I think I have that same paper clip, lol). jjpeapea great cards for the challenge. I like that you added bits of sparkle around - gives it the holiday magical feels. I have a ton of Graphic 45 paper scraps, especially from this one collection, but I chose to do a slimline for mine. Such a sweet (!) card. I really like the placement of the two squares nestled below the frame. Your card makes me hungry for sweets, lol.
