As I was searching for inspiration for my last challenge - I came across this listing - www.timeanddate.com/holidays/fun/So this time - choose your own holiday from this list. As before - - Your challenge is to use only old papers or scraps. You may use full sheets to cut the background piece, but everything else should be old or scraps. Points 2 per card Your twist is to make mulitiples of the same design - 2 points per card Your bonus is the give them away. Rest homes, senior centers, police or fire stations are all good to gift. gramma thank you for the non-traditional card challenge! Your laughing bear looks so joyful. He brought a smile to my face. Mine celebrates pi day, March 14 because pi is 3.14. I really did used to celebrate pi day with my students, with special activities. Everything cut from scraps! Even the base is leftover from another cut.

gramma, what a fun idea for a card. I love your Happy Belly Laugh card. I am always amazed at all your beautiful scraps. I'd like to come play in your scraproom! Delightful card. jjpeapea, I love the pi symbol in the the whipped cream on your pumpkin pie. That was so clever. That is such a cute pie with all the cut outs and layers. Did you have a die to do that? I am impressed! My grandson and I have what he calls "card wars". Not sure why he thinks it's a war, but I make a card for him and then he owes me one and vice versa. I wanted to pick some holiday he would like and make a cartoony card for him. I chose Eat A Red Apple day. He's an apple lover.  Cardtober #10, 14 & 22

gramma, this was a fun challenge, and your card is so cute! Thank you for choosing such a unique challenge. jjpeapea, your intricate pie piece for Pi Day is awesome! nylene, your red apple card is delightful (and so are your other two cards)! It’s bound to bring a smile to your grandson in your “card wars.” I chose Book Lover’s Day. I did not make multiples, because this was one of the most time consuming of my CARDtober cards just to color, but it is going to a dear friend who is a former librarian. She’s been having a bit of a tough time over the last year.

nylene what a cute apple! Good luck in card wars. The competition is stiff! scrapnnana Your time was so worthwhile. Your friend is going to feel so supported and so special. I love how you popped out the chair and end table for a 3 dimensional look.
