Your Sunday challenges will be based on shapes. Today's shape is the hexagon. To meet today's challenge, have at least one hexagon on your card. Your twist is to use some shiny gold. If your are collecting points for the team challenge, your points are as follows: *Create a card based on the challenge: 2 points *Apply the twist to your card: 1 point *PLUS: create the card AND use the twist for a bonus of FIVE points! Completion bonus: complete at least one card for ALL the CARDtober challenges for a COMPLETION BONUS of FIFTY points. Here's my sample:  CARDtober #23 |

Ryann thank you for the hexagon challenge! Your card is happy and pretty. I like how the hexagons all fit into each other. When I read "hexagon with shiny gold twist" I knew right away I wanted a hexagon mesh background. This card will go to my pen pal in a "hello" letter.

I know there are probably many ways to use hexagons. I had a little harder time with this one, actually. Obviously, I don’t use hexagons often enough. Nice cafd and challenge! jjpeapea, I really wasn’t trying to copy you. I have been playing catch up, and just saw your cute bee card. I went with a bee theme, too.  |

justjac, thank you for this challenge and for being a hostess for this fun month. I love that fabulous paper and am impressed with your background stamping. You have love in the gallery. jjpeapea, I love that gold hexagon outline. Is it a cut file? That bee is so beautifully detailed. Your penpal will love this. I love this. scrapnnana, your bee card is so pretty. I love the colors you have used. I really like the way you have used stripes at an angle behind your big hexagon. Very unique and fun. scrapnnana I love the colors in your card. Hexagons and bees go naturally together. At school on Thursday one of the girls wore a shirt with a hexagon mesh in a heart shape with a little bee on it. I showed her my card on my phone because I was surprised how much her shirt and my card had in common. nylene your colors, precise positioning and sequins make your hexagon card very special.
