For those that do 9x12 PL do you use the single 9x12 page protector much? If so, do you use it for anything other than an enlarged photo.
It’s my least used page protector. I used it a couple times to add enlarged photos but honestly I feel it’s too big and I would rather include 6x8 or 5x7 enlargements. Just looking for some ideas.

Ugh. I have two of these that came with my AE album and it feels like such a waste! I’m planning on just cutting a piece if card stock and placing cards and pics in the same arrangement as other page protectors just so I can use it and not waste it. But then I’ll have to do it again on the other side! Lol Be interested to see if anyone has any good ideas.

I don't do PL but I use 9x12 albums for dd and ds pocket page scrapbooks.
I do use the single 9x12 pocket. My most used is the 9 3x4 pocket page protector.
Let me go count how many single pages I have done. Oh and no, I do 2-4 pictures on a single page. I treat it like I would a 12x12 layout.

Ok, I have done 60 spreads in DD's album so far (I count 1 side as a spread) and of those 60, 10 are 9x12 single pocket layouts. Let me know if you want me to share any.
For DS, out of 44 spreads, 8 are single 9x12 pockets.

pantsonfire I would love to see your pages. I was thinking of doing a traditional page with them. I haven’t done a traditional page in ages so I would be rusty. I also heard someone on a podcast say they use those pp’s for their journaling for each month. She said it got her to do a lot more journaling. Was also thinking I could create an ephemera page for the month or quarter.

I use them for traditional layouts but if I'm behind, I'll also do a digital pocket page layout and add stuff on top. I use either a 9x12 template from The Lillypad or one I've made myself that's basically a design A. If I do it that way, I will often leave a few 3x4 and 6x4 spots for physical pocket cards and then add those on top after I've printed my 9x12 page. Sometimes I use all digital papers and photos and then add physical embellishments on top. I've done a couple this year that are completely digital pocket pages this year and I was surprised how much I liked them after I printed at home. One of the best things about doing it that way is I never have to worry about the pocket configuration from the week before.

I actually do my PL in a 12x12 album, but I use the full 9x12 protectors all the time in it! I create traditional layouts to include in-between my project life style spreads for larger events or just other pages. If I was doing a 9x12 album I could see doing this as a monthly divider... on the front you would do a traditional layout that summarizes the month (maybe a top 10 list or just a highlight from the month) and then on the other side you could do an intro page to the month, then go into your PL style pages and end the month with another full 9x12.

One thing I love about this hobby is how there are so many constants, and so many variables. I LOVE those full page page protectors! In fact, I ordered 3 more sets, plus my 2023 9X12 album from AE on the 18th. A few days later, I placed an ACOT order and a massive Persnickey Prints order, thinking I could open the PP, build the outline of the last 8 months of photos, and play with my new toys! I got the PP and the ACOT order within 2 days (didn't pay for expedited, and I'm on the east coast.) I've been staring at the boxes, sadly, for over a week. My AE order hasn't even SHIPPED YET WTAF! The hold up is these 9X12 full page page protectors, because I'd like to be able to drop the photos directly in them.
Thanks AE. Way to reward over $300 in purchases in the last few months grrr. Anyway, give ya'lls 9X12 full page pp's a hug for me. lol

I started scrapping my Disney trips this year in 9X12 albums. I have only used a handful of page protectors total. Most of my layouts are 10X12 with holes punched. They are mostly like people do 12X12 but they are vertical instead of square.
I love the extra space.
I don't have any full page protectors but if I did I would use them for ephemera like maps and stuff--things that are too thin to punch and put directly in the album but that don't want to fold up.
I have to say I'm absolutely loving the size. I went down to 6X8 for my October Daily and it's been a bit of a challenge, for sure.
So I'm with the people who are using them for full-page photos or layouts.

I'm using 9x12 for my monthly journaling this year because I can easily send the paper through my home printer. I have a bulk package of patterned paper that I cut down and will be printing on.

Scrapbook dot com has the best page protectors. They are so thick, way better than the Inked ones. They make me think of older We R Memory keeper pages.
