I haven’t done this in years. I’ve been using Amazon Photos for quite a while now but would like to have a specific photo printed asap. I haven’t used Walmart, Target, or Walgreens in forever. Is their one hour photo printing quality good?

Paige Evans posted the other day that she picked up some photos from her local Walgreens. I personally think that Walmart is better but I figure if it is good enough for her, it's good enough for me!

I used to go to Walmart years ago for one hour photos and I thought they were just fine. No complaints. I remember Walgreens not being great but maybe that was a one off.

My Walgreens here - the photos always come out dark and off center. Might be the person running the machine but I got tired of complaining.

That's really going to be location dependant based on how good the tech is and how well they take care of the machine.

You may not have the time to do this for this photo you need, but I remember someone giving the advice to print the same photo at all your local places. Then you can compare and decide who you like best.

It’s not uniform across local locations at all. I was printing locally for years and would rotate, as needed. Walgreens was great, then a long spell of streaking ended my run. Then cvs was fine. Until the colors went wonky. Rinse & repeat around town. I think there are so many factors going into it: machine maintenance, servicing schedule, person manning the machine, etc. it’s a constantly moving target.
I finally got pm400 and can’t believe how much simpler life is now.

Question about Epson PM400. I've been holding off for a bit now only b/c it's not available for sale in many places anymore. Hasn't been on amazon in quite a while. Are they discontinuing this model or phasing it out I wonder. I really really need a personal printer!!
Where do you get the best deal for ink and paper?
