What are your goals for this month?

This month, I hope to:
1. Work some more on my wedding album. I don't think I will be able to complete it by the end of the year as I had originally hoped, but I would like to be close to finished.
2. Repair some layouts my toddler pulled apart.
3. Move my scrapbooks to their new home.
4. It is a no spend November for me as well!

I will keep working on my monthly book. If I do one month per week, I have three weeks to spare before the end of the year. That will be catch up time. I'm sure I will need it.
Monthly 2022
- June
- July
- Aug
- Sep
Less Important
- fun pages to play with pretty supplies. Ideas: audiobooks, reading to Diana.
- maybe look at Halloween stuff again.
- Don't buy anything until black Friday if at all.

I have all of 2021 pictures printed, separated and put into page kits. I am about 2/3 of the way done scrapping that year. Now I am going through my cell phone pictures for 2022 and writing a list of all the pictures I want to print. We have two weddings and a house renovation in addition to all of the other photos for the year, so I am really trying to parse down the pictures I print for the year. I made it to April 30th tonight and will work some more on it tomorrow. I have deleted over 150 pictures just in the first 4 months. I clearly take a lot of pictures and don't delete them.

My goals
Get back to crafting ( I have a class tonight )
Finish setting up my studio - yes that’s an ongoing process but I’m still in boxes and it’s still a mess - so I’d like to get it cleaned up enough to actually craft. So if I craft I can see what organization I still need.
I’m even behind in my memory planner I pretty much stopped everything when I moved. I have to get going. Either just going forward & leaving the gap or going forward and back as I have time. Whichever.

I have a 4 day retreat this month. I have no idea what I am going to take to work on. I have so many unfinished projects.
Never the less my goal will be to finish 20 pages each on the 12 hr crop days and 10 each on the half day crop days for a total of 60 layouts.

1. Finish Thanksgiving Day cards for family
2. Make more pocket page layouts - made 6 so far
3. Make more Christmas cards - 48 of 90 made
4. Consider doing DD again (I know...lol) *Decided to do DD again*
5. Decorate office/craft space for Christmas - partially there. Added some $1 spot trees and put my Charlie Brown window clings up.
6. Organize Christmas papers, embellishments, etc
Adding to the list:
7. Make name cards for Thanksgiving dinner
8. Make 13 items for 13 Santa's of Iceland swap

1. create all my Christmas cards.
2. put together my November page and get my family calendar off to the printer.
3. assemble all that I need for the back of a shadow box I am putting together as a Christmas gift for my ddil: picking up the frame itself on December 1st and need to have it all finished shortly after that.
After that, I am just playing with paper and hope to get my autumn album finished.

My scrap space is definitely in need of a good organizing so that I can actually is when I have a few minutes of spare time and actually be productive. I bought some storage solutions so am trying to figure out the best way to sort everything.
Not to mention, it also doubles as my (very distracting) work from home space, and now that the snow has started to fly I am thinking that the odd day working from home will start to become more of a regular occurrence.

I didn’t touch PL all of October (working on Disney trip album instead), so I want to get caught up there. If was a verrrry low key month for us, so probably only 2 pages, maybe three. It’ll go pretty quick.
I’m close to filling this album, so I’m documenting the important stuff, and letting a lot of little things slide. I think it’ll be cutting close.

Gah.... I have the hardest time setting goals for myself for things that don't seem like they are a priority like figuring out that d*mn medical bill that we've been disputing since Januarly 2021. 
I'll bookmark this thread and hope I actually prioritize things I like to do!
-Get photos back on my laptop. Long story.  -Order Halloween photos I do have on my laptop.
-Start a gratitude album. I don't think I'll do the 30 day thing that's popular in November. I do better with an ongoing album; less pressure.
-Order photos from Amazon every other week -Organize photos to order from Amazon every other week. -Figure out how to tweak my books read mini album. It's a little too small for my liking.

Work with dd1 to get some old pictures off my computer and printed to use in Christmas traditions scrapbook (basically a DD album of our Christmas traditions- I want to record this but not do a yearly dd)
Continue to stay up to date on weekly project life
Do a couple pages in the Christmas/dd album once I have some pictures

Yesterday I finally placed a photo order.
July, August, September, and October 2022.
I haven't actually scrapped in months, but it was weighing on me that I hadn't kept up ordering photos.

Goals: - organise and label my trip photos -download photos from my camera -download photos from FB chat -put photos on a flashdrive and mail to a friend (I found a bunch of hers) -keep plugging away at scrapping this year's pictures -order more photos |

Omg I am so frustrated! This coming week I am going to a 4 day scrap retreat. I am trying to choose a project to work on.
If I have the photos I can't find the product to scrap them with. If I have the product all together I can't find the photos. I thought I had been putting photos with themes, and this is the third time I am left wondering where in the world I put the photos.
This is really a vent about myself. I think I will end up working on photos that I'm not that eager to devote 4 days to. I am overwhelmed by my complete disorganization. It's stealing my hobby joy.

I'm going to try and get through most of my cutting die backlog this month. I have two very big orders incoming late November/early December and I need to get my basket of shame under control!

A little late but I'm working towards by goal of completing my 2019 PL album. So far its going pretty well. I'm getting quite a bit done on weekends but would really like to do more during the week so we'll see.
-at the beginning of November I had all photos printed and sorted by week
-currently I am finished up until end of June
-hoping to finish by month end

I have an all day virtual crop on the 19th, and I have secured a babysitter for the children. Hopefully I get a lot done during that time. 2. I need to find where I put these layouts... haha. 3. I did this! And then it became a bigger project. I found a few of my albums were beginning to rust, so I pulled pages out and will be replacing those items in December, when I can officially spend money again. 4. I totally cheated and bought some puffy stickers from Target yesterday. However! I am saving them as a stocking stuffer for myself, so does that really count? 😁 And I also picked up Shimelle's Christmas collection from ebay. I will try harder next freeze! |

((((Hugs)))) that does sound very frustrating. Do you have time this weekend to spend some time organising? It is the eve of my 4 day retreat and I have succeeded in getting several varied projects loaded up in my car. I could not get any one thing together so I made it so I can switch projects if I get tired of any particular thing. Embarrassingly, I found 2 big bags full of paper I bought at CKC last July. The box of paper I bought at Expo last April is sitting on my back stairs. |

I'm in the home stretch! I've got 10 weeks left to complete in my 2019 PL album! I've been making an effort to try and complete at least 1 week spread/day during weekdays in a effort to complete this project. I figured if I can sit and scroll through my phone, I can do a week or 2 spread in that time. It seems to be working 🤣 the goal is to be finished by December.
