Giving her updates, sharing funny stuff and of course pics. Initially, I felt as if I had something to prove. After all, I work 5 days a week, am single, no children, family or other dogs in the house and no fence. (But was already working on that) Foster would’ve been well within reason to turn my application down but she still scheduled for visit for me to meet Millie. She saw our interaction and I suppose had a good feeling. I’m so glad she did. Yesterday I sent a first day of school pic. She responded with a text asking if I was ready for a second dog. 😂🤣 Never say never, but the cats would suffocate me in my sleep. Lol fence was completed yesterday. Yayyyy!

Once again, she is just adorable! I love the "first day of school" sign. And congrats on getting the fence finished. The house I just bought has a fence along the back and sides, but no gates to enclose them from the sides to the house. The previous owners had no pets.
It will be a simple matter to just finish off one side with a gate and the other side I hope to run a fence from the existing fence to the driveway with a gate at the walkway near the garage so that. I can put a garden in the enclosed area. My pup is really good about not digging or jumping, so even though the existing fence is not as tall as my previous home (7 ft versus about 4 ft) he will be fine. Especially since I will be out there with him when he is outside. My pup is much smaller than yours and vulnerable to being something's dinner. I need to monitor him outside.

She is absolutely adorable! Love the fence. Whenever we have moved I’ve been adamant that the house and yard be dog friendly. This house didn’t have a fence but we put one in asap. It’s black aluminum and we paid extra for what they called “puppy pickets” - extra, closer short little decorative pickets down low on the bottom of the fence, so the mini-doxie couldn’t get out. She’s old now (17 yrs old in December), but I never leave her outside by herself because we have big trees in our yard and frequently have red tail hawks and owls. Plus we have seen foxes in the neighborhood too. No expense is too great for our pets comfort and safety.

Well you do have two arms. One for petting each doggie. Be sure to post when Mille gets her brother or sister. Can't wait!
