Our AG has again been working to suppress the vote by baselessly investigating and attempting to indict poll workers. This will have the effect of discouraging people to work in elections in paid or volunteer positions. Fewer workers means fewer voting locations, longer lines, and shortened days/hours for early voting. Fewer people will vote. www.texastribune.org/2022/11/03/texas-election-workers-voter-fraud-paxton-midterms/That's all after dealing with "poll watchers" who are supposed to have free movement around the facility, reducing voter privacy and potentially leading to voter intimidation in some cases.

How has your AG continued to stay out of jail? Any chance of him being dumped soon?
In Maryland, even the possibility of voter suppression seems to have brought out more people to volunteer as poll judges. At least in my area. Now we don't currently have an AG who is trying to suppress the vote via intimidation, but there's one running for office, so we'll see what happens when/if we get another free and fair election.

I’m hoping he’ll lose next week, but who knows.

Long lines brought on by too few polling places/not enough workers or voting machines = voter suppression.
Oh and Texas A&M had its on-campus voting location removed. Students now have to travel downtown to the courthouse to vote.
These are very large universities with 50K+ (UT) and 70K+ (A&M) students.
Long lines and/or loss of on-campus voting locations have long been an issue at Texas’ HBCUs as well.

You can still vote on campus at A&M on Election Day, but yes, lots of anger over them taking away the early voting on campus, but no problem hosting Ben Shapiro this past week on campus :/. My daughter is a current student but registered here in DFW. They do have an alternative way to vote in town for state officials only so I am hoping she still gets her vote in. She was helping to run a charity event in college station tonight so not able to make it home to vote early. I voted yesterday - it was hopping at my local city hall
