Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), who was among only seven GOP senators who voted to convict Trump in his second impeachment trial, condemned the former president for sitting down to dinner last week at Mar-a-Lago with antisemitic rapper Kanye West and neo-Nazi podcaster Nick Fuentes.

"President Trump hosting racist anti-Semites for dinner encourages other racist antisemites," Cassidy tweeted. "These attitudes are immoral and should not be entertained. This is not the Republican Party."

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and former New Jersey governor Chris Christie each spoke out against Trump's judgement for hosting the pair at his private resort, but Cassidy appears to be the first currently serving GOP lawmaker to condemn the meeting.

Jack Smith was appointed by former as acting US Attorney in 2017 to the middle district Tennessee.

Smith was hired by Trump's administration to serve as an acting United States Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee during Trump's first year in office, his biography states. During this same time, the new Trump Justice Department was firing most of the U.S. Attorneys hired under President Barack Obama's administration. One of those biggest names was Preet Bharara, who helped Trump with the transition while serving as the U.S. Attorney Southern District of New York. He was fired the same month that Trump hired Smith in 2017.

The animal feed, which is grown in harsh desert environments, is shipped overseas to support livestock on Saudi dairy farms. In 2014, Almarai bought almost 10,000 acres of farmland in Vicksburg, Arizona, through its wholly owned subsidiary Fondomonte, spending nearly $50 million on the purchase. The near-nonexistent water regulations in La Paz County, where Vicksburg is located, mean that Fondomonte can pump vast amounts of water out of Arizona’s water table, which has declined by over 50 feet in the past two decades.
