So apparently the last 10 years or so Walker has lived in Texas. He has a house in Georgia that he has been renting out for years. Then somebody convinced him he should run for the Senate. But not in Texas because both Senators are Republicans. So he looks around and see the Democratic Senator in Georgia is up for re-election so since he has a rental house in Georgia he decides to run for the Senate in Georgia against the Democrat. Isn’t that “state” shopping meaning looking for a state you don’t currently live in to run for Congress.
I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t vote for a state shopper as I would want someone who actually lived in the state and more than a few months to represent me in Congress.
