Does anyone have one? I have my eye on it. What are the benefits to having one? I have a Big Shot. Do I really need the Fiskars. What are the drawbacks?
thanks

I have it and love that I can cut and emboss Spellbinders with one pass. (adapter plate kit needed) I got mine for 50.00 and the adapter plate kit for 15.00 at Joann. They were on clearance about a month ago. The biggest drawback is it's big footprint and it's heavy. It stays out on a counter so I don't have to lug it around.

Hi, thank you for responding. Have to tried making your own sandwiches? The adapter kit is a bit pricey to have to keep replacing when the pads wear out.

I just saw one at JoAnn's for 70% off today. That may be why you are asking.

I have one but have barely used it, and have no other manual cutting machines to compare it to, so I'm really no help at all! I have used it a few times with my WRMK/Lifestyle Crafts letterpress platform. I also bought the adaptor set but haven't used it as I have no embossing plates or dies.

I have used the Cuttlebug plates and they work well too. As far as the rubber mat in the adapter kit, since I got mine so cheap, I haven't tried this yet, but people are using rubber gasket sheets you find at a hardware store as replacements.

I have some Fiskar's dies and use them in my Big Shot. They work just fine. The medium dies are pretty big, too. The boxes thry are packaged in make them seem smaller.

What plates do you use to make the sandwiches for the bigz, sizzlits or wafer thin dies?

I use the B Cuttlebug plate, paper and bigz die, another B plate for the bigz sandwich. A plate,C plate, die and paper, then B plate for the thin dies.

Totally late but I have a Fuse and I love it. It basically is a big shot pro for like 200 bucks less.
