The last few orders I've placed have been delivered by UPS. I'm thrilled by that as I sort of hate Amazon's own delivery service for multiple reasons that would take a book to write about. This just isn't normal but I'm hoping that maybe they are gearing up to use other services to meet the demand for the holiday season. Have you noticed your orders from Amazon being delivered by other couriers lately?

Almost 100% of mine are delivered by the post office.

The vast majority of mine are via Amazon directly - there’s a major warehouse only a few miles from us and about 75% of our orders arrive with 24 hours, often within 6 hours. I’d guess over 90% of our orders are delivered by Amazon.

It has been almost a month since my last Amazon order. I think one did come by UPS, but the majority of my packages are delivered by Amazon.

My packages come either by UPS or my local post office. I don't see those blue Amazon trucks out here in the country.

I thought this might have meant condition. lol My home office is in the back of my home, so I don't normally see which carrier delivers, but many of my items are being delivered in plastic bags instead of boxes, resulting in damage. I have a couple of "collectors" that I buy gifts for and it aggravates me to all end when I open the back and every single corner is smashed in. I cant' give that to a collector! Or anyone really if giving it as a gift.

So far none of it has mattered as far as the functunality of the item but it would be disappointing if the item was supposed to be a gift.

Most by Amazon themselves. I ordered a lot of fabric recently through Amazon. Nearly all of those were delivered by UPS or USPS. Everything else has been Amazon.

Mine were always delivered by the post office, with an occasional UPS or FedEx delivery. I’ve ordered a lot the last 6 months, and since July, most are Amazon deliveries. Orders seem to be split up more often w/multiple deliveries. I don’t like it at all.

Mine are coming via amazon, which is a relief because my USPS is not great.

USPS or whoever drops off Amazon stuff in an unmarked car from time to time, particularly if it is a Sunday delivery. No UPS from Amazon except the chairs I ordered from them 2 years ago.

Anazon has a third party company where drivers use their own cars. They are not employed by Amazon but pick up their packages to deliver with their cars. That’s why you see them in unmarked cars.

We’ve gotten a mix of Amazon, USPS and UPS for a number of years. If items are in a local Amazon warehouse they’re delivered by an Amazon driver. Otherwise it’s a mix of the other two.
UPS is accepting fewer packages from Amazon, however. I think Amazon packages make up about 12% of UPS revenue. Amazon is a customer of UPS and a threat. More are delivered by USPS.

There was a contractor delivery gal that just recently stole someone’s dog from the garage! She was caught on someone’s video camera. Usually, if our package is being delivered after normal business hours, it is a contractor. We had a package delivered at 9PM once by a guy in a beat up old car that looked like it barely ran. 😆

Mine are coming via amazon, which is a relief because my USPS is not great. Exactly this - I was so frustrated with USPS as they did the whole marked as delivered when it wasn't that aggravated me - they opened a warehouse near us and now I almost always get direct from them. I'm sorry for those that have damage with the bags - I love that they have reduced packaging and as I rarely have something fragile, it hasn't been an issue for me.

I think so much depends on the individual driver. USPS, UPS and Amazon drivers could be great, horrible or in between.

Lately it’s directly from Amazon but we live close to a warehouse.

It’s always been a mixed bag here. A lot come via USPS for the final leg with UPS as the initial carrier but we get a good number from Amazon directly too. We have a couple of big Amazon warehouses in our general area.

Mine are 75% post office and 25% UPS. We don't have Amazon direct delivery here.

We get almost all of ours through the post office. But we’re in a relatively smallish city that’s an hour or better away from any decent size city. I figure that’s why.

Almost always UPS. One morning about 7:30 am I heard a truck drive in. Not totally unusual. Sometimes we get bulk fuel or propane, and those guys start early. It was a Prime truck. First and only time (that I know of, I've not been home during the day since the first week of September) that I've had an actual Amazon delivery! That had to come out of either Des Moines or Omaha (we are about the same distance from either - a little more than 2 hours). I was so shocked to see them, I forgot to ask. But they had 2 guys in the truck. Driver and runner I guess. UPS does this during the busy holiday season.

Almost all of them are from Amazon. We live about 15 minutes from a distribution center. When I get stopped at the light where the center is located, each time I see ten to twenty trucks turn or wait in the line. They are busy.

With frustration!!! LOL. I check order delivery dates before I order, then get upset when everything arrives LATE. Or they lump everything together and deliver on one day BUT NOT in one box.

Almost 100% of mine are delivered by the post office. Our DIL is a postal worker. The USPS and Amazon work together. Small packages are delivered with the mail and larger packages are delivered on Sundays. (at least that's how it's done in Maine).

Pretty sure that lately most of ours have been via an Amazon truck.

Mine are a mix. We live super close to an Amazon processing facility so a lot come by Amazon blue truck but we get a fair number via USPS. Funny story, my neighborhood is CROWDED with trick or treaters on Halloween night. 2 different USPS trucks were delivering amazon orders right in the middle of trick or treating. The trucks were moving a couple feet every 10 minutes and it just made me wonder who on earth decided that deliveries on halloween night in the dark were a good idea. It was super bizarre.
