What about a 3 ring binder(s) with pockets that you slip the twine, ribbon, etc in?
As for the numbers...let me think on that

For the #'s what if you got one of those clear fridge bins that has a partition down the middle for the larger ones then get the smaller clear drawer organizer clear bins to fit in the front of the fridge bin since those are pretty deep. I have one for my big stamps and its larger than I thought itd be when I bought it.

Legal Lady Linda reorganized her numbers in a recent DD video. She used old AE envelopes, one for each #. Combined 6 and 9. It’s a good option if you have tons of numbers to corral. I’ll see if I can find a link. The number reorganization starts at 10:45 - youtu.be/fsYoqH0yCWs

You could also go check out your local thrift store for bins in the right size... I've found vintage mini metal bread pans that work good for 3x4 cards, I'm sure there are lots of other great options possibly found a thrift store.

A ribbon organizing die like this might help: www.aliexpress.com/item/4001095542131.htmlYou can also just cut your own from cardstock. Standardizing all your sizes and ditching the rolls will save on space and make things neater. For the numbers, I'd get them vertical. Digging through the box makes it hard to see what you have and limits your volume. A simple cardstock envelope with a sample letter at the top would do wonders. Again, standardize the size for neatness, ease of use and optimization of space.

blemon, I didn't see a problem, that's how I do it. Except I use bigger boxes. I like to rummage thru everything.

For loose numbers, I use the method of taking a 12x12 12 pocket page and putting all of each number in a slot and washi tape it to keep numbers from slipping out. This works great for numbers that fit in a 3x4 pocket - very easy to see what I have. I use 3 page protectors and fold them in half and keep in an upright organizer with some tall letter sticker sheets. The large ones and sticker sheets I keep in a single bin together.
On ribbon, I used to use a big plastic zipper bag. Now I have a couple of small plastic bins and a shelf - no help on that!

Thank you all!
These are great ideas.
I was able to fit the ribbon on spools in the box with my washi and it's very neat now.
I'm feeling like I can do this now.

A few ideas (from someone who has neither supply in my existing inventory): Numbers - An Iris 16-case 4x6 Photo Storage Carrier or two (if you prefer each number has its own case) would keep the various sized numbers together & be easy to flip through each case & store the stackable carrier(s) during the offseason. - Storage envelopes (available in different sizes) for each number in a clear fridge bin - An over the door hanging shoe organizer with clear pockets: If you only access the numbers for DD, it could be hung inside a closet door or on a clothes rod & out of sight during the offseason & moved to the outside of the closet door or hung on command hooks or a curtain rod near your primary work surface while working on the project. - Depending on the sizes of your numbers, an ArtBin Solutions Box with adjustable dividersTrims
- Tidy your existing box: Keep the small rolls in tact & place all others on the same size bobbins (as shown here) - Toss all trims into a wide mouth clear glass jar with lid (e.g. Anchor Hocking cracker or penny candy jar) to double as room decor - Wind all trims on same sized bobbins & store together in a narrow fridge bin - Place all trims into a colandar or plastic storage bin with holes & pull the end of each trim through a hole as a dispenser - Wind all trims on bobbins & store in an ArtBin Solutions Box with adjustable dividers- Repurpose a counter top paper towel holder for ribbon on rolls & put the non-spooled ribbon on the same sized bobbins in a photo box, narrow fridge bin, etc. - Place one yard of each trim on the same sized bobbin together in a narrow fridge bin or photo box & toss the excess in a wide mouth clear glass jar with lid for room decor or a photo storage box tucked in a less used drawer or closet

I watched the whole video. I think it helps to see how other people think when they organize. I have been storing my numbers in plastic bags but the DD boxes were the problem. I had picked up some clear plastic sleeves that are sturdier (but not as thick as those kit envelopes she is using) from Felicity Jane. So I just bought two more packs so I'll have enough to do all the numbers. If they don't all fit in the bin I have, I think I have another one with something else in it and I'll relocate all that. EVERYONE who helped, Thank You all so much for the links and the descriptions of what works for you. It has all been great. Now I wait for more sleeves to arrive. I won't need numbers for a while.
