DD has to wear scrubs for school this year. Its for the vocational school program she is in. They are allowed to wear something long sleeved underneath it for warmth in the winter. I'm wondering what type of shirts would be good for under scrubs. She doesn't want anything bulky. And would like the sleeves to be snug, but not tight (she is in a vet program and doesn't want claws, paws, nails, etc. to catch on them). Any suggestions of what brand / where to buy?
Thanks!

Any online scrub store will have a selection of long sleeved shirts for wear under scrubs.

My daughter wears Under Armor Cold Gear. She is in the OR though and freezes. They make warm gear too I think.

Depends on where she will be working. ORs are cold. Offices & patient rooms tend to be warm. I prefer 3/4 sleeves or short sleeves. That way when things get dicey you don’t have to worry about a long sleeve getting in the way. I also prefer 100% cotton.

I used to just wear the gap body long sleeved tees. They were snug and cozy.

I had to wear scrubs at home part of the time for about two months, and wore long sleeved t-shirts under them. At first I tried a cozier knit fabric that wasn’t much thicker than tees, but an occasional cat claw would get stuck in them, as the attached cat would try to crawl on me to avoid the foam (medicine) being applied to him.
I would have worn turtleneck tees if I didn’t hate how they feel on my neck.

I can't wear anything under my scrub tops. I get too hot. But maybe at a vet office it's cooler there.

But ever since Covid I usually leave my arms bare with a jacket I can easily remove before patient care (thinking more infection control). I don't really wear shirts underneath anymore like I used to. Plenty of people still do though.

I wear any athletic dri-fit but they would probably snag with animals.

My daughter is a new nurse and she would get the cheap long sleeve white t-shrts from walmart to wear under her scrubs.
