Do you use one that you love? I have tried a few and all clog after a few uses, or I put a pin in it and it rusts.
I'm looking to buy an empty one as I have a ton of art glitter glue. Any suggestions?

Thinking that is the unicorn of paper crafting...
I think my problem is that I don't immediately cap the bottle once used--too busy going on to the next stage of the project. Karen Burniston uses a fine tip bottle which she inverts between uses during one session into a crumpled wet wipe in a small bowl. I have not tried this with "normal" liquid adhesives, but thinking it might be a solution for me.

I put it down to glue the piece on and then start inking or whatever and when I go back the glue is clogged!

This is exactly why I leave my liquid glues in their original bottles. So far I have yet to have issues with my Tombo Mono Aqua glue or stickles. I store my stickles upside down in a holder from SB dot com. My Tombo Mono is stored on its side. I think the plastic tips hold up better and allow less bonding and glue to stay in the tips than the metal ones on the fine line bottles.

My 18 year old son, last year a week before Christmas, took a shower in our bathroom and flung his pants off without looking. Typical teen boy style. Well they landed on a candle and he caused a small house fire burning down our bathroom! Now I tell him he will forever be "liar, liar pants on fire" if he ever fibs on anything.

I've had the best luck with bottles that store tip down, but I don't believe there is anything that is truly 'no clog' long term without periodic maintenance. It's indeed a crafting unicorn.

Recently I bought 3-pack of fine tip bottles at Hobby Lobby. I forgot what department they were in. I think they cost around $3. They are clear plastic with black nozzles. I put my clear glue in one and fabric glue in another. So far so good. To make sure it doesn't clog, before I quit for the day, I squeeze the bottle (while it's sitting up) a few times to make sure it's just air coming out of the nozzle.

I have seen some card makers use a glue that has almost a needle like tip, I think it is the product some peas above have mentioned. I need to pick it up, my glossy accents is always clogged.

I'm laughing over your name. oh wow - bravo for being able to laugh about it all! That sounds pretty awful and I'll bet it was at the time. And thanks for this thread - I am also in search of the crafting unicorn!

Bearly Arts glue. I once left the pin off the a bottle top overnight. The next day I did have to take the tip off the bottle to clear the clog, but the bottle is still going strong. I've never had an issue with a rusty pin or a clog I could clear easily. I have two 4 oz bottles in rotation and I refill them as needed.

I use the fine liner bottles or the No-clog tips and empty my big bottle of glue into the empty fine liner bottles. It’s the best so far. But the needle tip does need to go back in or else it clogs. So if you forget, you have to clear the clog by inserting the needle tip. I’ve tried so many different glues and this bottle seems to work the best with little fuss.

I use the Bearly Arts glue fine tip for over a year. It uses a needle as a stopper. I have never had it clog.
