I have been looking into building an off-grid home. I really love the earthships. linkBut I have no idea how to get started...anyone ever done anything like this? |

I haven't done it, but I had to click to learn what an earthship was.
They look interesting.

Having an earthship and living off the grid is one of my dh's dreams. They are pretty cool.

There is one being built in our province. They lived in it through this winter where we got the record for being colder than Mars. They keep up to date on a blog and Facebook. The blog has lots of info about the building process if you are looking to read. sites.google.com/site/earthshipmanitoba/ |
