Just cruising along looking at stamps and this came up... link. I do like tea but... Is this a stamp cardmakers would use, because I can't figure out how it would be used on a scrapbook page... especially more than once. Enlighten me!

Well it is Dylusions. They are always kind of weird. I think (not sure), it is geared towards mixed media projects. See these: ACOT

Well, I wouldn’t use it, but yes, it looks like it might be intended for card makers.

I’m thinking since it’s Dylusions, it’s geared towards art journaling.

Oh I have several of these stamps. Yep, I use them for mixed media, journaling and art projects.

Hmmmm, I do see more of a mixed media use, but I could also see the stamps being used to created a background for a 12 x 12 layout that is mostly covered up. This brand makes very specific stamps that you can almost always recognize.

It's not my cup of tea but I could see it used in the background on a 12x12 layout.

Looks perfectly fine to me - just very artsy. While I wouldn't use it, it's nice to see something more exciting than the constant 'flowers, lacy silhouette, butterfly, doily' offerings.

Definitely art journaling or funky cardmaking.

Dyan Reaveley is a mixed media artist and designer. These were definitely designed for that purpose, but I think they would be great on an Alice in Wonderland/Mad Tea Party layout (if one were to have such a thing). I love her quirkiness and originality.

If at all interested, watching a video of Dyan Reaveley making art is so worth it, even if her art isn’t one’s style. Here’s one that’s just one minute and 9 seconds long that gives a glimpse into her approach and wit. She’s a great doodler and collager. Other videos are far longer, of course, and she has classes. I only have one of her tamer sets plus her wavy journaling block, though I don’t journal—though made one in a class once—and find her inspiring and energizing. Not affiliated! youtu.be/zp4SQjrDYtE - one minute nine seconds of Dyan Reaveley

I've taken a couple of classes with her pre-covid and they were fantastic. Her art style is definitely not mine but she was very encouraging for people to do their own thing and what made them happy while teaching art principles. If she does teach classes again, I highly suggest everyone to take one because they are probably the only classes I've ever taken that I consider worth the money I paid.

She's delightful. I've always thought taking one of her classes would be a hoot and a half despite the fact I don't really art journal and her style is wildly different from what I'm usually drawn too.

Aw, Dyan Reaveley is very popular over here! She works with Tim Holtz too. If you think her stuff is weird, what do you think of one of my favorite designers, Daniel Torrente for Stampotique? I'm rubbish at linking so I hope it works. Sorry for jumping in, I'm just curious!
