Not sure if anyone else on the board is trying to buy Taylor Swift tickets today - I can't imagine I'm the only one. I didn't get a verified fan presale code, but I am a new Capital One cardholder and I'm going to try to buy tickets during the Capital One cardholder presale. I've never done this before so I'm just looking for some guidance. I know that for the regular sales that start at 10 a.m., you can log in early to join a waiting room - though I don't think it affects your place in line. If the cardholder presale starts at 2, do I also log in early to join a queue? Or can I not do anything until 2 p.m.? Thanks for any guidance you can provide. Buying event tickets from Ticketmaster is a crappy process and it always leaves me frazzled.

I have no idea but my daughter is all setup.. She has the codes she needs, she has two laptops, iPad, two phones ready to go.. lol.. her hubby is off today and watching the baby while she does her thing. She got tickets last time around and sure enough she double booked herself a trip to Germany/France (with me) and didn't get to go to the concert. Nothing is going to stand in her way today.. lol
Back in my day I would be standing in some God awful line in a snowstorm.

Usually you open up Ticketmaster and you will see a place to check a box for presale for cardholders. Then it will take you available tickets. Good luck!
You have to log in. After you go through the check in, you should be put in a queue.

I'll be trying the capital one presale as well. I didn't get picked for the earlier presale.

Good luck girls! I can't wait to see what DD gets (or hopefully gets). If she can get six tickets she is taking her little sister. That would be awesome for my girls. Depending I might be able to go to depending on who is going with her and if she gets tickets AND if she gets enough.. lol that is a lot to ask for.

We have 5 presale codes in our group, so hoping we can score tickets!! I also have Capital One card. You can join the queue a half hour before hand, but don't think it matters how soon. Good luck!

And make sure you have your Capital One card handy - the first 6 digits is what lets you into their presale.

We have a code and I am in a queue. The queue has been temporarily paused for about 15 minutes. I wonder if this will impact the presale time? That is my backup option if I don't get seats through the verified fans code.

Have they stated the price ahead of time? I did it for Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen tix and the prices weren't listed until you got past the queue and able to buy the tix. They were expensive!

The site actually crashed about an hour ago. Ticketmaster hadn't entered the verified fan presale codes correctly and when people were entering their presale codes on the east coast, it was booting them out and putting them at the back of the line. Then Ticketmaster shut down the site to fix the issue. They've message those of us in line to wait, not close the browser or refresh, and I've been sitting the queue for Kansas City for an hour at this point. It's trending on Twitter. Some of the posts are hilarious! "It's easier to get a twitter verified blue check than it is to get TSwift tix!"

At this point I'm wondering if they're going to pause the capital one presale or if I have a better chance at those tickets than waiting here in the queue from the verified fan - what a complete mess!

In queue now. This might take hours given al technical difficulties Ticketmaster is having. Wish me luck! And best of luck to everyone who is waiting for their turn just like we are. Hopefully we’ll secure tickets eithout further technical glitches.

Just so you know, if you did get a verified fan presale code by email or text, it's better to log in to TM through that direct link rather than starting at the site and logging in there. When I tried to log in via TM, it kept crashing and giving me error codes. SO I c closed everything out and logged in via my link and got right into the "waiting room." After about 5 minutes, it put me in the "QUEUE." From there, it paused, but I'm just leaving the browser open and keeping my fingers crossed. Trying to buy tickets for my daughter and I, and I can busy myself while my phone waits it out.

We had two codes for the presale, but they seem to have pushed our purchase back by five hours? I don't know what's up.

My dd and her friend managed to get tickets for Tampa. They had a verified fan code and the Capital One card. Not sure what method they used to access it, but dd got in the queue at 9:30, got kicked out, got back in, etc. Three hours later they had tickets. Good thing she didn't have to work until the afternoon. As for prices...they got front row lower bowl seats for $250 each. That probably varies by venue, city, etc though.

Ticketmaster is a sh** show. My dd has been trying all am. TM has crashed, then paused. etc, etc. it's a freaking mess. If someone entered some codes wrong thru TM, then they should be fired. Like how would that even happen? Yea, it's the biggest event of how long and no one double checked? what a mess!!

They were expensive! We got to concerts A LOT and I have found it is exceedingly rare for them to announce prices beforehand. The only artist I have ever seen do that is Garth Brooks and that’s because all of his tickets are one price across the board. Of course, Ticketmaster fees usually almost double the price, so even if an artist did announce the price, that wouldn’t be the actual price you pay when you check out 🤷🏻♀️

Wow. What a damned mess. Think I may have to forget it. I’m not up for this kind of competition for tix.

I’ve been in the queue for over 5 hours. It was paused for over 4 hours. The Capital one presale has been pushed back to tomorrow and west coast venue ticket sales have also been pushed back.

My son goes to U of T and he got tickets to see her in Tampa today too! Much easier than the trouble we're having for the NY shows. Oh well.

I did a cardholder presale for Paul McCartney recently and it was as described. You have to log in to get into the queue, and then choose your seats quickly when your place in the queue comes up.

Neither my husband or I were able to get the presale code and we don’t have a Capital One card so I imagine I’ll be frustrated with everyone else on Friday. 🤦🏼♀️
