I've had the same half done layout on my desk for about a week and before that the pictures on that layout sat on my desk for a couple of weeks. So not much mojo lately. I've had a lot going on and having less daylight hit me harder than usual this year. Not much energy. How much scrapping are you getting done lately and are you happy with how much you're scrapping?

I tried watching some of the DD prep day videos and that helped, but my mojo has been really low lately. I feel a little spark coming on but unfortunately no free time either!

Today I got in my room and picked up a bit. I updated my dies and punches inventory and put away a few things. I also pulled out my two mirrors of Christmas/Winter dies to start making new tags for Christmas this year. So not 100% slacking, but I also only work 4 hours a day. I also browned 4 pounds of stew meat so I can throw make two meals of beef stew and stroganoff for the rest of the week and not have to cook anymore. That was a win.

I got some layouts done the other day but mostly I've been busy with other stuff - including scrapbook adjacent stuff like ordering photos, organising and labelling digital photos, and organising printed photos. Hoping to get back to scrapping this weekend (but I have more photos arriving on Friday....)

Real life has been a lot for the last month or so, so my crafting energy has been low. I’m committed to doing quite a lot through the end of the year craft-wise, so one way or another I’ll make my way through it.

Somewhere between 0-25%, because I'm stuck on a mountain of clean up/preparation tasks and not feeling very creative at the moment. Hobby interest grows and wanes - it's easier if you don't try to force the cycle.

0% for me. Busy with other stuff (including taking care of me .... meaning getting enough sleep, rest, quiet time, etc...). Been really into reading lately.
This is normal for me though. I tend to scrapbook in increments. Every day-multiple days a week for a month or two or three...... then nothing for couple months. I am very okay with that. It will get done, when it gets done.

Almost nonexistent! This year has been a interesting one, that's for sure. I have not been feeling motivated at all to scrapbook recently.
However, that all *may* have changed this morning. I saw the Artemis launch at the Space Center and can't wait to create some layouts! So hopefully I can change my answer soon. 😊

Depends on the day...week...month... I recently was gung-ho about my vacation album and got the first 3 days done, but that was almost 2 weeks ago. I was able to get a couple of "every day" layouts done one day. I got interrupted with some cleaning, organizing and searching because a pile of stuff fell as I was looking for any and all school & sport pictures I have scattered around because I got inspired to gather DS17's professional photos after setting a date and location for his graduation party in May. I need to work on his trip album to Germany from this past summer, but I feel like that needs to be a little more than photos thrown in pocket pages with a few embellishments and journalling...but I know I'm going to get distracted with other things, especially December Daily in less than two weeks.

I was excited and inspired while making Halloween cards for the swap here. Since then, my mojo is hit and miss. I have my stuff laid out on my kitchen counter where I scrap to hopefully inspire me. I’ve made about 8 Christmas cards but haven’t found the designs I’ll use for my cards this year. I usually have 4-5 different designs each year and I haven’t even picked one yet.
This weekend I plan on watching some card making videos. That helps to get me going.

I went for 75% mostly happy. That’s an improvement over the past two years when I first retired. Retirement is harder to adjust to than I anticipated.
The recent Crop and Create card making event and the upcoming Holiday event have helped me get back in gear. I made and sent out Thanksgiving cards and I’ll start on Christmas cards after this weekend. I’ve also been organizing stamps, dies and stencils so they are easier for me to find and I’m doing a major clear out of my craft room one drawer or shelf at a time. With every drawer I feel a little bit lighter and I can find things easier.
The reason I’m not at 100% is I’ve recently been diagnosed with a medical condition that can’t be cured and will continue to get worse. The pain level is something I’ve never dealt with before and I’m struggling physically and mentally to come to grips with all of it. My motto now is just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Both literally and figuratively!
But, the more I scrap and keep busy in productive ways the better I feel over all.

In crafting as in everything else, I am slower than I would like to be. So I am behind in both card making and cookie baking for the holidays. The stress of trying to finish more cards has somewhat taken away the fun of creating them. But I am still at a place where I feel creative, and have at least a little fun with every batch I churn out.

Ugh, I voted 25%. Most of the time I am a lot higher than that, and tend to do some scrapping almost every day. But at the moment I am struggling. When I struggle with mojo, I usually just make up some digital templates from sketches or layouts, so that I have them ready when I find my mojo again.

My *mojo* seems good - I have crafty ideas in my head, projects that make me want to start/finish, and "warm fuzzies" when I think about sitting at my desk and crafting. My *energy* is limiting me. In the evening, after work/daily life allows me to scrap, my energy and thus my motivation is gone. Last night I forced myself downstairs for an hour and had a good time, but I only worked on a simple layout with a sketch, so that it didn't tax me at all. I didn't have the energy to try Christmas card design or thank you cards that need to get done.
I think it's LIST time of year so that I have the extra excitement of creating a pretty list and crossing off accomplishments. That usually helps my energy levels!

Not currently scrapping but I've been making cards like crazy! It helps that I have a defined goal and timeline (Christmas Cards). It's getting me in the holiday spirit!

lindamh, best wishes going forward. It's hard to concentrate on other things when you're in pain. Hope it gets more tolerable for you.

In scrapping, I did well this year when I have gone to crops but not too productive at home. I'd like to at least pick up on PL, which I haven't touched in 3 months. Honestly, even though my space is organized and I moved a year ago to give me more space, it's still not enough. I have certain things in progress that just get piled, so I can feel the 4-inch stack that has at least 6 projects in it next to me, glaring at me every time I sit at my craft table. I just glare back.
Cardmaking I do pretty well. That is generally quick and easy for me and I do some swaps that I seem to do well when I have an assignment and due date.
In general, I'd like to do more messy/mixed media projects and I rarely do since I don't have a ton of space and its a hassle to protect everything.

I'm getting bored with regular pages. I'm going to do some random mini albums to switch things up for a while. This got my mojo going, but then life has got in the way the last two days!

This whole year has been tough with my mojo for a multitude of reasons...but of course lately it's been going better. Which isn't always great this time of year when I probably should be busy with other things!
But I hear ya. Beside a crop I went to, I didn't complete much, but I feel like I've done little things to organize, plan and prepare for some more scrapping soon. I def do more and think will have more time for it this winter.
I try not to sweat it, just step away for a bit, it ebbs & flows like all things. Hope you find some mojo magic soon!

I’ve been okay but ramped up to 100% with a crop last weekend. I completed a good stack of layouts, I think 25 pages.
I have more than half of my cards made for the Christmas swap here but need to finish. I also bought a new stamp and die set and decided to try watercolors. I made four images yesterday and painted them…I really like them!
Today I’ll be either scrapping or making cards for a few hours.
