The last Special Counsel was appointed by a Republican to investigate a Republican. This one is being appointed by a Democrat to investigate a Republican. There is a difference.
We will just have to wait and see.

I wonder if knowing they may well be caught up in the DOJ investigation for these very serious charges will do anything to quell the members of the Treason Caucus who have announced an intention to start unwarranted, retaliatory investigations in January. Hard to investigate Hunter Biden's laptop from a prison cell, Ted, Marge, Bobo, and the rest.

At this point, I'm convinced that only the poor are served justice, but I'll hold onto a little bit of optimism that some justice will be meted out to Trump and his cronies.
I feel like the GOP is cranking up their jack in the box arrived at via clown car for 2 years of investigations. Add a special counsel for Trump's criming and it's gonna get even more dystopian in these Divided States.
