Do you have one? Is it easy to turn on and use for my non-technical dh?
I see there are some that you use the cloud for storage and for others to add photos. Do you need to be connected to WiFi to have it on and cycling thru photos?

We set up our Google Nest Max to also be a digital frame. I love it! It connects to my Google Photos and I can tell it which albums to flip through or just people to share pictures of. I can easily change the above on the app. It is connect via wifi and not thing is stored on it. Also has all the other smart display functions. We use it mostly for timers, playing music, asking questions and seeing who is at the door via our Nest doorbell. It is always on but has a sleep mode that dims it when the lights are low or it is dark.

We have a Frameo which needs to be connected to wifi. I absolutely love it because loved ones can send us photos straight to the frame. Nothing better than to hear it ding and see new pics of my gorgeous grandbaby. It’s really easy to set up and you just have to give others a code and they send through the app.

We have a Nixplay and love it. It needs wifi to receive photos but it has internal storage to display them so once the photos are there, it will show them as long as it has power.

Bought my parents the Nixplay for Christmas a couple years ago and we love it! It's very easy to use. You set up a nixplay email address for the frame and then just email photo's to that email address and they appear on the frame. There's also an app, I think you can transfer pics through it too, but i'm used to emailing them. The thing I love is that you can give the family the nixplay email address so they too can send pics to the frame. I don't have experience with other brands, but i'd definitely buy Nixplay again.

We have the Nixplay too. Five of us in the family do so we can all see updated photos of those precious grandbabies all the time. Mine sits on a kitchen counter and I look to watch the photos go by.

I have had one for at least 10 years. I could have it connected via wifi but don't. I have a USB drive with lots of photos on it that rotate around. A couple of our vacation photos are on there but most are family members.

I still have one "old fashioned" one, that uses an SD card in the back, but I set up my amazon shows as digital frames and love it!
