After 14ish years, my QuicKutz Revolution died. The cut plate was getting thin so I had to use shims for some dies. Well when I was trying to cut a star from the glossy coated glitter paper last night it made a loud pop and one of the gears broke.
Dh had a heck of a time breaking into the Revolution to take it apart as a 4x4 die was stuck.
Found a few barely used ones on Ebay and placed a bid. While I have the Big Shot, I preferred the Revolution due to size and ease. When I have a lot of died to cut, I get out the BS due to length, but 1 die especially over and over, the Revolution was great.
Hope to win a bid so I can use it again. 🤞🏻

((((Hugs)))) My Epic Six is sitting on DH's repair bench in hopes he can re-attach the handle. I love my Gemini Jr but prefer the Epic Six for QK dies (I do have a QK handle for the 2x2) so I feel your pain. Fingers crossed you get a new one.

Oh that stinks! Mine broke a few years ago and I decided to go with the Big Shot (is that what it's called? It's electric). Anyway, I didn't love it as much as my Revolution at first but now I love it. I hope you are able to get a Revolution that you love!

That's too bad, pantsonfire. I hope you find what you want. I hate being forced to use different tools or supplies b/c of issues beyond my control. I still have my old Cuttlebug ready to step in should my Vagabond quit working. But I know I would need to learn a whole new sandwich format for my beloved wafer thin dies.

I had the same thing happen several years ago. If they had just made metal gears, it would still be going strong. I did buy a replacement, but I’m afraid to use it because I don’t want it to break. Silly, as it just sits there. But it’s my favorite machine because of its size and versatility. I now use a Big Shot most of the time and it really stands up to the workload.

Ugh, that's such a bummer!
Were you able to get another one? I hope so!
