Hello!
Does anyone have/use the Elle’s Studio alphabet die sets? I’ve never used dies before, but I have and use the heck out of the Jane alpha stamps. I’ve resisted the dies but I’m thinking about biting the bullet.
My questions about them are:
Do they come apart? They look like one big piece, and I don’t see how that would fit into most of the manual die machines…
What manual die machine works well with them? Another big reason I’ve held off on them is the small detail of me not owning a way to use them. 😆 any recommendations on a small-ish in price and size die cutter?
Thanks so much for your time!

I used to fussy-cut my Elle's Studio stamped alphas, but now that I have the coordinating metal dies (I'm on the creative team), I use them often. It's much faster, obviously, and the edges are nice and crisp. I'm happy to answer your questions. The alpha dies come attached, and I cut them apart with jewelry wire snips. I have a manual die-cutting machine, the Sizzix Big Shot (NOT the electric Plus), and I run 6x8 paper through it just fine, arranging the dies on that or smaller paper scraps. Looks like Amazon is selling a grey and white version for $90. Here's a layout of mine that uses the large alphabet die (grey paper with one of the alpha stamps) and the medium alphabet die (black paper) on a layout: http://instagram.com/p/CkOSZeNpZ46 This is a layout from my fussy-cutting days. If you scroll to the close-up of the alphas title, you can see how rough the cut-out portions of the letter forms are, haha: http://instagram.com/p/CYcMV93vKTQ
