I have the DVR set. I have a love/hate relationship with her. I really like the things she makes. I enjoy seeing her life on the ranch, which is not so different from mine. Although I do not have a "Lodge", I can't complain about my life.
But something about the way she talks drive me batty. LOL

It was cute. I'm definitely going to try a recipe or two. I'm another one who loves her.

While I like her recipes and have done quite a few - I can only handle her in small doses. But she cooks 'normal'.

Those potatoes looked so good!
On a side note, last week I was at my best friends house and she served some cookies. She had the most delicious coconut lime butter cookies. They were to die for. Then she told me they were a Pioneer Woman recipe. Everyone raved about them.

Is it the Cowboy Christmas show? I missed it, but I just looked at the schedule and set it up to record that one at 3:00 am, because it's 60 minutes long so I figured it was a special.

Recorded it but haven't watched yet. I'm a huge fan of her recipes. I just watched the show from this morning which showed their finished renovated office building. The office space is so beautiful. *sigh*

I enjoyed the show. But I asked my DH how the hell she gets that all done in a day. No way. She must have an army behind her.
The "Building" is pretty cool. It is nice to see an old building in a small town come back to life. I live near a couple small towns, and one persons enthusiasm can really do wonders for the whole town.
The days we work calves, I am pretty sure my DH would not be up to grilling 100 kabobs - lol. He collapses in the chair and is snoring in about 2 minutes. I am using keeping records and sometime notch and tattoo, but I am still pooped on those days. I could probably muster up enough energy to GO to her party though! LOL Loved the band.

I was thinking the same thing! There's no way she did all that in a day on her own - the ham alone hogged up the oven for most of the day!

I like a lot if her recipes too, but I cannot watch her show or read her blog. Those coconut cookies look fantastic!
