The thread about collecting supplies got me thinking about my very small amount of OA. All I have left is a tiny bit of Daily Flash and an 8x8 Modern Homemaker paper pad. I wish I had bought more OA when I had the chance. I'm trying to work past being a collector/hoarder of supplies that I love. I want to cut the paper and actually have completed layouts rather than supplies collecting dust. I'm pretty sure I could make one or two more layouts with my remaining Daily Flash. I'm going to dig that out today and see if I have pictures that would go with it. I don't have any Modern Homemaker embellishments but I can use my Silhouette to make some or use other supplies. I will look for pictures to go with that paper pad, too. So, October Afternoon hoarders, what will you do with your stash? What OA supplies do you have? Any specific plans or are you still in the afraid to use it up because then it will be gone phase?

I used up most of my papers from OA and now I'm slowly going through the die cut and ephemera packs. I just use them on random things, layouts, cards, pocket pages, etc.

I haven't had OA anything for years. I used it all up because I liked it a lot.
I miss their papers.

I never bought full collections, or even close to it, I just bought papers that I thought I could use from across everything they released. I usually mix manufacturers on my pages so my OA gets used up along with all my other supplies. I have a sheet from Cakewalk that has banners on the front but a pink-ish coloured polka dot on the b side which I've pulled out to use in my Dec album this year, pairing it with a similar coloured SR paper, a new piece from the FP Christmas line this year, and some FJ b&w prints, and I'm super excited to use this combo of papers.
I never felt the level of love or obsession for OA that others did so I don't mind using it up because it's not in my category of "too precious" papers.

I only have random pieces here and there that I've gotten in RAK boxes etc...
no specific plans - I use as they fit my layout (and I have used some already)

I have a lot of October Afternoon. Most of the be 8x8 paper pads and a ton of mini market alpha stickers. 12 x 12 papers, ephemera packs, I think my favorite collection from them was 9-5. I usually only use it to make cards for some reason. I miss them!! We used to load up at the warehouse sales.

It sounds like you're all actively using or have used up your OA. Awesome! I'm going to learn from you.

I have some of the Sasparilla collection I am using in my wedding album currently. I am hoping to use the rest of it up in there.
I just used Witch Hazel on a Halloween layout with my youngest.
Rocket Age will be used up for layouts to the Kennedy Space Center, that is in progress.
I have Campfire pulled to the side for our next family vacation.
Holiday Style I am hoarding until I experience a Christmas with snow. Hopefully in a few years when we move.
Saturday Morning, Treasure Map, Silent Night, and Under the Tree I just found at my local LSS right before it closed for good. So those are just sitting and looking pretty at the moment.
Hello, my name is Sarah, and I am addicted to October Afternoon paper collections. 😁

I got lucky and 3-4 years ago, a local store had random OA papers by the sheet, and tons of the sticker sheets for sale (for regular, reasonable prices.)
I think what I have most of in whole 12 by 12 sheets is Saturday Morning because it's not been easy to use... I know I have the paper with the Fruit Loops, and the one with the heads on it... I was really happy not too long ago when I was finally able to use one of the Pancake embellishments from that line.

I have a ton of October Afternoon saved and I haven't used it for a while. Thanks for the reminder- I'll dig it out next time I scrap.
My favorite Halloween line of all time is Witch Hazel.

Like you, I stocked up at their annual warehouse sales. It was like black Friday to me! My favorite line was probably Treasure Hunt (?), a pirate themed line.

I have a 4 inch stack from lots of different lines. My kids are almost grown so maybe that's why I don't think to reach for it. Maybe someday with grandbabies (I hope!)

I've actually been using my OA stash!
I don't have a ton of it left but I do still have a few pages each from Saturday Morning, Treasure Map (I have plans for this collection), Daily Flash & Witch Hazel and one piece from Midway.
I have a smattering of Sasparilla (probably my favorite after Rocket Age which I've used all of), and some Christmas paper.
I still have some Mini Market letter stickers that I'm hoarding as well!
I never really had many of the ephemera from the collections - I mostly just had the paper.

I have quite a bit of October afternoon paper - maybe a stack 3-4 inches high. Most purchased from those famous “Santa Sacks” they sold at the end of the year. I always loved getting those - that was my Christmas gift to myself! I could never find any OA paper in local stores so I had to order online. I also got a December kit complete with an album but have still not yet put it together.
I really need to challenge myself to use them!

Witch Hazel is my all time favorite Halloween collection, as well. I’ve not bought a Halloween collection since. 🎃

I looked through my stash and found some Midway, too. Bonus! Oh my gosh, I forgot that Midway was October Afternoon. I love, love, love that line. I've made so many pages with it. I still have a bunch, too. I bought a lot of it when it came out, thank goodness. The only thing I don't like about October Afternoon is that all of their flair rusted. It was so cute, too. I keep forgetting to go back to my old layouts, take the flair off, and replace it with a sticker or something. For some reason, some of my flair from other companies didn't rust, but all of my October Afternoon did.

I have quite a bit of OA, papers, embellishments, stickers, the lot. And I have that December kit w/album that I need to use. I also couldn’t find OA locally so most of my stash is from online purchases, and those Santa Sacks. I also found an online retailer during Covid lockdown and added a lot of paper to my stash. I still have a ton of the Mini Market cardstock alphas (my favorite) that I got from an eBay seller that was de-stashing. I find that I use my OA and older stash more often if I go through it and make album/page kits for specific projects. I also need to go through and remove dupes to RAK or sell. A project for 2023

Hello, my name is Sarah, and I am addicted to October Afternoon paper collections. 😁 Hello from a fellow OA addicted Sarah! I got incredibly, extremely lucky a couple of months ago and ended up purchasing a massive amount of OA from a former employee who messaged me on Etsy. It was by far the most $ I’ve ever dropped for scrapbook supplies in one day. One of the best things to happen to me all year, no joke. I love seeing what everyone’s favorites are because it’s always so dependent on the person. Some faves off the top of my head are Farm Girl, Farmhouse, Sidewalks, Make it Merry, and Report Card. I never cared for Travel Girl or 9 to 5 and actually have very little if any from those lines.

What a fun question Elsabelle! I have quite a bit of OA, but I have used quite a bit too. I used most of my 9 to 5 on retirement books that I've made as well as several sheets of Sasaprilla (the cowboy/girl line). I've been saving (not hoarding ) Farm Girl to someday make some pages of my childhood. And one of my favorite lines that I don't have a lot of is Woodland Park. That collection had such pretty colors. Also I mix OA with other collections and manufacturers. It just makes me happy anytime I use it.

I have quite a bit from their various Christmas lines. And a good stash of their general lines. I love it still and definitely use it when the right photos come along. I seem to have also collected many single sheets of their map designs Those are just to look as I don't know that I can cut into them or cover them up lol!
