Good grief… Covid FINALLY got me and some of my family. And my husband and my son! Been sick since about the day after Thanksgiving various stages. We are like the sloth family… my poor DD didn’t get it so she has been doing the best she can to avoid us. We all just move around this house like sloths. Sick of being sick. But glad we are not one of those who got it bad enough to go to the hospital!
Then right in the middle of this I got an offer for a NEW JOB!!! I’m breaking out of prison!! And I’m changing careers! I’m so freaking scared and excited. My old supervisor recommended me. And it is more money! I had to give my 2 week notice from home. I hated that but no choice since I can’t work. I’ll be working for a college as a financial aid officer. So totally not what I do but they know this so why not go for it and maybe this will lead to much bigger things.
Meanwhile been binging Yellowstone. I’m in Season 3. Love it. But I hate Beth. She bugs me to no end. Everyone says she grows on you… still waiting. I think it is more the actress than the character. I wish she would brush her hair once and awhile.. lol
Anywho… in case if anyone cared that’s my life from my recliner.

I can see how it isn’t some people’s jam. It’s A LOT! I much prefer comedies and some documentaries based on human behavior. Loved the series on Scientology and a few other religious cult documentaries. Not a fan of violence, so many of the current series have it. Just gives me bad dreams. And congrats on the new job. That will be a big change. |

So sorry Covid tagged you and yours but glad it wasn’t too bad and you’re finally on the mend. I can relate to that sloth feeling, I had a bad case of bronchitis that dragged me down for almost three weeks. Still have the freaking cough over a month and a half later, ugh.
Congrats on the new job! Sounds like it will be a nicer environment than jail, LOL.
I hear you on Yellowstone. DH loves the show, I don’t hate it but I don’t love it. Half of the time I don’t know what’s going on in the show because I feel like I have missed more episodes than I’ve seen. I actually really liked 1883 (the prequel show) a lot more. The next one that’s coming out (1923? I think) looks really good. I’m going to make more of an effort to watch that one.
