christine58 I only feel shakey and have no energy and a raspy throat. The lack of energy is very hard. I hope you can get the antiviral, because let me tell you I felt better within 24 hours. |

Why wouldn’t you just talk to your doctor? That’s what I did I guess the rules are different in Canada. That’s too bad I don’t know why you wouldn’t qualify |

I called the government line and they said I didn’t qualify. Ugh. Another week. Why wouldn’t you just talk to your doctor? That’s what I did I guess the rules are different in Canada. That’s too bad I don’t know why you wouldn’t qualify I am too young, in good health overall and drug interactions. My dad if he gets sick will qualify. |

scrapmaven , thanks for asking about my mom. She is asymptomatic now, just tired and taking it easy. Just glancing through the thread … Mom is 93.5yo and fully vaxxed including the latest booster, but this was still the second time this year she’s had COVID. Both were mild cases. Her doctor didn’t prescribe paxlovid, either … he said her case was mild and it would interfere with her other meds. I am still disease free. It’s a Christmas miracle! My son has a very mild case. They wouldn’t give him the meds, either. Too young/too healthy otherwise/not sick enough. The 13yo went back to school today (flu, not COVID) but still has a cough. jeremysgirl , it’s so nice to see you posting.

So good to see you jeremysgirl I’m glad things are going better. I d want my mom to quarantine too after a cruise. Had an early work day then came to the cabin to get mail and do some chores. Made buffalo chicken salads. Sorry everyone is getting sick. |
