I have bought 6-8 packs of printable scrapbook paper on Etsy- some are 12 By 12 but most are 8 1/2 by 11. Some of the packs have about 10 different papers and some have about 18. I need some recommendations on what size brand/ size jump drive to buy and also if anyone can suggest the best place to have it done. Thanks!

i'm going to keep my eye on this thread because i've always wanted to do this too. i've printed small digital ephemera at home but the colors are never as crisp as i would want them to be. i have a color laser printed and i don't want to invest in an ink jet machine to get the desired results if i can just have them printed out somewhere instead.

This is great information because I just assumed a color laser jet printer would give the best results. I have an older Epson inkjet printer that prints on 12x12 paper and I really don't like it. I don't use it frequently enough so the ink hardens and doesn't print. I have to spend so much time cleaning the tips of each cartridge and running the cleaning option on the printer numerous times just to get it to print in bold colors.

Can't help with the jump drive size as I just store my stuff on Drop Box or my google drive. I do send stuff out to Office Max/ Office Depot for printing and get it printed off at 8.5 x 11. size (very rarely do I need a full 12x12 sheet of pattern paper).

Any jump/flash drive would work, I usually stick with SanDisk or Kingston. This is my favorite type, I've been using these for years (I did tech support/network administration before my 7 year old was born so I feel like I know a thing or 50 about stuff like this. ). SanDisk 128 GB cruiser flash drive
As for paper, would you mind linking the paper you purchased?

EVERY time we print, it looks like crap and we have to go through the troubleshooting things in order to get it to print properly, and even then it's not great quality.

What are you wanting the jump drive for? I think it's to save the digital files on, to then take to an offsite printer (like a Kinko's, etc.).

You see the commercials touting the large volume ink tanks but you don't get a feeling for the print quality. It's good to hear something from an actual user.

For the OP I'm pretty sure most places have online portals where you can upload from your computer. I've heard of people ordering from Staples but don't know the details.

I sometimes print digital papers at home on my Canon ink jet photo printer. I have found the type of cardstock used makes a big difference in the crispness of the image. I like to use this cardstock for my printables. I think I may have two versions of the same printed paper that I can try to dig up and take photos of tomorrow, one using regular cardstock from the craft store versus the paper I linked from Amazon. There is definitely a difference in image quality.
