I’m not a fan of facial hair personally. Navy ds and peach fuzz 13 yo ‘Stach are determined to break me of this lol. Ex had to shave twice a day when he was active duty and he still had stubble. br] Yes I shave legs/pits daily. (Face weekly lol). I have preferences but I don’t push them on anyone.

I like most facial hair, except some silly little moustaches; but beards? Yep, I like them. A couple of questions for those who don’t like them or don’t like big full beards……. If you see someone with a very curly frizzy head of hair, does it make you wish they would comb it? What if it’s hair that is like that naturally? Why should it be any different with a man’s beard? For those who say a beard catches food crumbs because it’s so close to the mouth - do you usually have food crumbs around your mouth when you eat? Why should it be any different for a man with a beard? For people who say it looks as though they are too lazy to shave - do you, or would you, shave your legs and armpits every day? I have eaten with people who have pretty full beards and yes, food can easily get stuck in the hair. I wipe my mouth after eating certain foods that are messy. If I had hair there, it would be in that hair. But like I already said, it isn't up to me to decide what others do with their face.

I need a depends category, or an other because my vote would be for 3.5. Not 3 and not 4, something in between.
SOME men look great with a beard. Some men do not. I like a beard on my DH because without one he’s a dead ringer for his dad which would be a hard pass for me. I don’t like it when it’s trimmed really short (1/2” or so is too short, what’s the point? Might as well just shave it off then) but I *REALLY* don’t like the long scraggly rat’s nest Duck Dynasty or Alaska Bush People beards either. That’s just gross. Something in between closely cropped and Santa Claus, neatly groomed and maintained, on my DH looks good.
And dudes, while you’re at it get your freaking eyebrows trimmed too. Nobody wants to look at freakishly long, bushy, curling into your eyes eyebrows either. Trim that mess up! (And if someone could tell certain brothers of mine that they really need to look into getting their EARS shaved, I’d really appreciate it because long hairs growing on the outside TOP of your ears makes you look like a troll!) 🤮👹

I think for some men a trim beard adds definition to their appearance. My husband has almost no hair, but his trim beard adds accent to his face. My son also has a trim beard (almost scruffy) and it’s adorable. I’m a big no on those lumberjack beards. I feel like Dave Letterman is in his rebellion stage.

I feel like Dave Letterman is in his rebellion stage. I think you might be right. His beard is jarring for me. But, I am not a fan of beards of any length.

I don't like cleanshaven. On dating apps I am much more likely to take a second look at someone with a beard. I don't like big beards at all but 2 and 3 are totally my jam.
I like hairy chests, too. Evidently I like men more hairy.

Any facial hair that is groomed is fine with me. A tangly nest is beyond gross. This 100%! DH grew out a beard a couple of years ago and when it came in he looked like Captain Smith of the Titanic (his hair has recently turned all gray). His moustache is shorter but I think he looks great. It also keeps him warm in the winter. He shaves it off in the spring and grows it back in when it gets cold again.

I don't mind closely shaven beards but if it gets too long it just looks gross and like pubic hair. I don't like that.

My son has a full bushy beard. I truly hate it. My DH and my other son can't grow a beard like that thankfully.

I'm sure all the bearded ladies here will be fascinated.

I like beards on some men as long as they are well maintained. It really depends on the overall look. I do not like the look of the wild man beard on anyone.

Dh has a long beard but it's super full, the color is unique, and he washes it, uses beard oil and uses a straightening brush everyday and has a barber take care of it regularly.
I like it when the lines are clean and it always smells good. I think my actual preference is scruff though.

I think I already answered this when it first appeared. I just want to say my new hobby is counting the number of men with beards vs not when we go out to eat. The beards are the overwhelming majority.
