That is very good news indeed. 12 years ago my dad was dx stage 4. He responded so well to chemo, they decided to offer surgery, and then radiation on what was left. He’s still loving life. These wonderful stories do not always happen, and we all know it. So I know you value this new lease on life.

Soooooooooooooooooo happy to hear this! I feel so lucky myself with what happened with my brain tumor and how I have survived such a dangerous surgery. We will never know this side of heaven the reason for being gifted these miracles...just that we accept them! Continued healing for you my dear!

cindytred . How are you doing? Any further update? I'm doing great! I started chemo again on Jan 6 after a 5 week break and I didn't have any bad side effects. I go again for treatment this Friday and I am hopeful side effects will be minimal. The worst thing is I can't taste anything and that sucks because I love to eat! Also my hair fell out (doc said it wouldn't) and I hate the wig I bought. I wear a scarf now. Little kids at Target looked at me funny yesterday - LOL. After the 4th treatment I will have another PET scan and figure out where to go from there. I'm pretty sure I'll be having surgery soon. I really really really appreciate all the prayers and good thoughts I've gotten from y'all. They have helped so much. Cindy |
