I had a PET scan today after 5 chemo treatments to check on my Stage IV Colon Cancer that spread to my liver.
Three of the 4 lesions in my liver have disappeared! The 4th one shrunk by half! The PET scan didn't light up any colon cancer and it all looked normal there!
The doctor called tonight and said that I need to do 4 more treatments and then they will remove the bad part of the colon and burn/freeze the diseased part of the liver and I will be all good!
I told him I had decided to stop chemo because it was making me so sick and I'd rather have quality of life over quantity since I was terminal anyway. He said I don't have to take the chemo drug that makes me so sick anymore!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!
I know the Peas aren't a religious bunch - but I have to tell you that this is a miracle from God. I appreciate all of your prayers and good thoughts. I hope this gives hope to others.
