Warren might have presidential aspirations.  However, she's been against big mergers and for strengthening anti-trust laws for a long time, before Secretary Pete. She talked about it in her presidential campaign in 2019.   She's on a banking committee and her background is in finance and commercial law.  And she didn't single out Pete,  she also called out Chuck Shumer.

I find it ironic that right after this post, you criticized Republicans for not letting facts get in the way of their narrative.

Interesting. Newly announced gop candidate, Nikki Haley, wants term limits and mental competency testing for candidates over 75.. supports a the party who wants to make people work until they are at least 70 to collect social security...

She says time for a new generation!!

"We have lost the popular vote in seven of the last eight elections. We need somebody to do that, because winning without winning the popular vote is difficult."

I honestly think Nikki Haley is a dangerous candidate for the Dems. *IF* ( and that is a big if ) she were the UNCONTESTED GOP pick ( by uncontested that means no strong former GOP running independent ) I could see a scenario where she wins. Most of the misogynists are GOP so if she were the only GOP choice then they’d grumble & vote because ‘R’. You Gotta own those libs at all costs even if it means voting for a *woman*. ( see we voted for a woman we aren’t misogynists )

I don’t see Trump accepting that, though. Honestly I don’t know that Trump will accept any other candidate than himself.

IMO the only way this country will have a woman President is if the misogynists vote for her, most of the misogynists are GOP.

That does NOT in anyway reflect on wether or not she is qualified or a good choice to be POTUS. Just that if she had enough backing she’d be dangerous.
