Every year for as long as I can remember, I have made the name cards for Christmas Eve dinner. This year I have the tops made and am struggling with which color base to use to secure the tops to. (names will be going in upper right corner) Would love some pea help on this. Should I pull in some red? Try to match the ink for the snowflakes? What color would you go with? And here are the cards themselves to help you: http://instagram.com/p/CmPziGdP_Oq

I think red would really make them pop.

I’m a vote for the charcoal grey like the snowman’s hat 😁

I think you could pull any of the colours you've already used and they'd look lovely but I'm leaning towards that Christmassy green.

I’m a vote for the charcoal grey like the snowman’s hat 😁 Ya know, I may go that route. The plates my mom is using have grey and black, as well as red, gold, white, and green. (There are different trees on the front so this is why I have a tree with the snowman). Hmm...🤔

Those are beautiful pantsonfire. Any of the above colors sound like they would work well. The charcoal might match your Mom's plates quite well. Maybe even gold? Have a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner.

I was going to suggest black or dark gray before I even read the other responses! LOL! So, another vote for that here.

Can you put red behind the snowmen with green scarves, and green behind the guys with red scarves? Matching the background to the scarf works, too.

Cute name cards! For the base, I suggest cardstock in the same color as the ink used to stamp the sentiment & snowman, which appears to be either black or charcoal. HTH.
