Just saw a video of this through Scrapbook Expo email. I've never heard of it, but was wondering if anyone here has and if you have used it. Clicky

It would not work for me, I load upside down and then flip to put it through the machine. I use Scotch brand reusable tape to hold everything in place so nothing moves. And the tape can be reused many, many times.
I like to be able to see exactly where on the paper the cut is going to be. So loading upside down is the only way for me.
Besides you can use a magnetic plate to do the same thing.

I have never used it either but I do use a magnetic mat which I agree with oldcrow, seems to do the same thing. I live my magnetic mat!

Interesting, but I don't need a tool like this or a magnetic platform. I also didn't like how the excess paper is curled/wasted. My thin die sandwich from the bottom up works for me:
1. Platform 2. Cutting Plate (this is my heavily etched plate I always use as the bottom plate) 3. Paper 4. Dies, cut side down 5. Cutting Plate (this is my clear plate)
If I notice through the clear plate that things are shifting, I will readjust the dies or use some washi to tape them down as suggested above.

I usually put my paper down first so I can see where my die(s) are going to cut so that grid would be useless for me. And what if you want to die cut a shape from the front of a card? Grid is covered again. That thing wouldn't work at all for me. I'll stick with my magnetic platform! Now THAT was a good investment!

Cool idea but I already have a platform that works for me. Not sure I want to spend the money on a new one...
