Some more embellishment conversation:
What embellishments do you use the most?
I use stickers and die cuts, of course. Every time I buy a paper line I get either the die cuts or the stickers to match. I also almost always use sprinkly bits: Enamel dots, puffy shapes, gemstones, and sequins. Even though they are kind of out now, I still use a lot of wood pieces. I love doilies, lace, and ribbon. Buttons and embroidery floss still find their way on my layouts.
What do you use to embellish? Do you still make embellishment clusters?

Coordinating stickers and die-cuts are also something that I like to use. And yes, enamel dots, but I'm kind of stingy in using them since they're sort of expensive. Need to get over that. And you mentioned fibers in your other post - I still use them occasionally along with ribbon, but not as much as I used to. Sometimes flowers, but I've never used them a lot. And once in awhile I'll use a few buttons.

My layouts are usually pretty flat, so my embellishments are stickers, die cuts, stamps, enamel dots, mists, and I hand draw stitches a lot...

I've really been embellishing less recently. I don't know if I like the clean lines or I'm just lazy!
My favorite item would be enamel dots. I have a lot of them and use them all the time.
Now that I have a standing desk with my Cricut set up permanently, I am using it more. I like the cut titles the most. I also have used it to cut outlines of states for travel layouts.

I no longer use flair or anything too bulky. I know a lot of people had trouble with their flare rusting, but I have not. I just don't like how much space the layouts take up in an album.

probably chipboard. I’ve realized I’m a minimalist when it comes to embellishing.

Diecuts, diecuts, diecuts. I rarely use anything else. No enamel dots or washi tape or stickers. I like my creations to stand the test of time.

I use pretty much everything. I love Memorabilia. Then stickers, die cuts, foam tape, distress inks, glitter pens and stickles, enamel dots and shapes, ribbon, washi, fiber, sometimes rub ons if they work right, letter stickers, and paper stacking/layering.
I also use dried and paper flowers and leaves, wood shapes, metals, charms. I can't think of anything I can say I never ever use.

My favorite thing is to embellish using actual stuff from an event -- like ticket stubs from concerts, the invitations from parties and weddings, a handful of confetti from that year's New Year's Eve party / event, an actual zoo map from the zoo I visited, etc. When I was out sailing, I tried to grab brochures from all the marinas and museums I visited. Those weren't always available -- but I am super grateful for the ones that were, because a lot of them have details I have long since forgotten.
My new most-used embellishment tool is the We R Memory Keepers Frame Punch Board. I'd honestly rather be using premade chipboard frames, but I'd practically need to be a billionaire to buy the number of premade frames I need. So I am buying a few premade ones and making the rest myself.
Anybody know of a good 3"x5" rectangle die? If I had one of those, I could cut down papers from 6x6" and 6x8" pads and use the 3"x5" die to cut out the center to make frames the right size for my 4"x6" pics. That's the only way I could think of to get frames the right size from my compact die cutter -- but I haven't yet found a good die the right size. Strange. You'd think there would be zillions of those available. Maybe there are and I'm just overlooking them, somehow.
When I first started scrapbooking, I used a lot of punches, premade die cuts, stickers (especially alphabet stickers) and ribbon. Nowadays, the ribbon has given way to washi tape, which is so much easier to use. I'm buying fewer premade die cuts and loading up on dies instead. I still use stickers selectively.
Other than that, I usually create a lot of my own embellishments using stamps or stencils. I used to use a lot of hand-stamped journaling blocks and hand-stamped sentiments, but I'm trying to get away from that (because it takes too long) and transition to doing that digitally now. I am not really having the success that I hoped with that, but I will keep trying...
I also like to embellish with my own artwork -- bits of spin art, doodles, little sketches, etc.
Most of my old punches broke, except for my Fiskars hand punches, which rusted at sea (I took them with me aboard our sailboat). They still work reasonably well despite the rust. I still use those fairly often. I'd buy replacements for them if they were still being made, but my favorites have been discontinued.

My favorite things to use on a layout are the random things I can find from the event or location. I have embellished my layouts with sand and shells from a beach, rocks, ticket stubs, children's artwork, confetti from the Backstreet Boys concert, maps, chewed on dog toys, small unstuffed kids toys... the list goes on and on. If I can glue it down to a piece of paper, I probably will. 😁 Most recently, I used a space blanket for embellishing my layouts. My other current favorite to use right now are acrylic embellishments and titles. Also wood veneer. I just enjoy having different textures on my pages.

Die cuts/Ephemera and enamel dots are my most favorites. Next would be cardstock stickers and thin chipboard pieces.

It's the ninth one in. Any A7 set should have it, I think? They go from 5"x7" on down. Many companies make A7 sets.

I still use washi tape. Sometimes I will glue the ends down or wrap them around the paper and use regular tape on the other side. I know washi has a reputation for losing its stickiness but so far my layouts are holding up.
I also like charms. I bought a big bag of various charms (for jewelry) from Amazon and they find their way onto a lot of layouts. NTFB kit club had enamel Christmas ones in their last kit and I absolutely love them.
I use a lot of wood. I found Shadnee on Etsy and she makes so many great wood pieces in so many "not so usual" themes. I definitely recommend her. I also hoarded all of the Studio Calico and Kaisercraft wood pieces and love going through my stash.
Buttons. I love buttons. I have no idea what buttons have to do with my layouts but I have a big bag of them from when they were super popular and I dig through it all of the time.
Layering pieces- especially vellum, doilies, tags, metallic paper, etc. I love when I use them and I don't dig them out enough.
Paper leaves- I love them. I get mine from Amazon or Hobby Lobby. Also great for layering and embellishment clusters.

I forget to use the small generic embellishments like brads, sequins, and enamel dots most of the time.
It's usually stickers, stamps, and die cuts. I don't know how often I do embellishment clusters. I've made them, but I don't keep track or remember them on pages once they are done.

I normally steer clear of Ali Express for crafty stuff, because it is important to me to support the companies that design and produce the supplies I use. I don't want to end up with knockoffs. However, I don't think that is a concern with plain rectangle dies, which aren't copyrightable as far as I know.

My favourite embellishment is flower stickers. I was so excited when digital designers started making them. I still have a fondness for 'dimensional' flowers, and like to add them to a cluster with stickers. I also use enamel dots a lot, as well as tags, tabs, and labels.

Oh goodness! I read this too fast and thought it said, "Embezzlements-What are your favourites?" . LOL I was all like wth is this thread about. (rolls eyes at self)
As for embellishments..I like diecuts and labels. I'll use anything though that's pertinent to the layout.

Stickers, purchased diecuts, diecuts that I cut with my Big Shot or Cameo, brads, labels, flowers (e.g. Prima), buttons, chipboard frames, and doilies. I buy a lot of pre-made stickers and die-cuts, but I struggle with using them.

I'm a minimalist embellishment-wise
Stickers, die cuts (purchased or cut at home), enamel dots/nuvo dots tend to be my go-to
More occasionally - stamped images, eyelets/brads

What embellishments do you use the most? ... What do you use to embellish? Do you still make embellishment clusters? Consistent with my scrapping style, I prefer archival, flat, & versatile embellishments (e.g. labels, tags, tabs) & often use tools, such as punches, dies, stencils/inks, embossing folders, etc. Embellishment clusters have never fit my simple/clean/linear/minimalist/"magazine-ish" scrap aesthetic.

I love having actual stuff from the events too! Paper bags, postcards, cups, receipts, chopsticks, menus…love.it.all! It was a bummer when so many events went to digital for tickets. Most of this has ended up in my PL since that project has been my main focus. I just add journaling to the pieces if possible.
