I went to my retreat and got 42 pages done. I was pretty happy. They are all of Dec and I have probably that many left to do. I scrap for my 2 dgds and a little for my sons

How's everyone doing with goals so far this month? I have done both of the goals on my list! I finished my DD album earlier this month, and I've made a couple of pages for my 2022 PL album.

My update so far:
1. Finish organizing my albums and putting layouts away. My albums finally arrived and I have one more box of layouts to sort through. Hopefully this gets done this week.
2. Create the next batch of rocket launch pages. Not yet!
3. No spend January! So far, so good. š Super proud of myself, I still haven't purchased any scrappy supplies. But I totally want to. š
4. I need to create 50 layouts before I can buy any new goodies, so I am ready to start creating. Hopefully a can knock out a few layouts this month. Currently at 2/50.
I think this month is going well, so far.

Just Do It! January: ā¢work on my 2021 JYC/DD album - completed through Day 7āļøā¢complete page kits that I had prepped for We Create 2022 (at a crop Iām going to) - finished one class, but did more talking than scrapping. Iāll save the others for next monthās crop. ā¢spending Frost for January - cut back on what Iām buying and bringing into my stash, since Iām running out of room! - I was doing good until the Felicity Jane page protectors bundles caught my eye, and of course I had to buy some other things to take advantage of the 75-80% off and the flat shipping. ā¢make 2023 desk calendars ā¢2022 year in review LO w calendar photos āļøā¢complete 13 pages total - Already at 15 pages for the month! Woot!More scrapping, less scrolling and shopping!

My retreat starts Tuesday 1/24 and ends Sunday and I am feeling fairly confident I will get the pages done that I listed prior. I have page kits put together and have been packing this week. I also signed up for the Valentine's 2Peas card exchange so I hope to use the retreat time to make some cards for that as well. I'll come back & report my progress on the 30th

My goal for January is to complete my monthly 2022 PL album. I have just 2-1/2 months to catch up on printing photos and placing them in the album, then going back and doing the journaling/embellishing. I'm really bad at journaling, so this could mean just adding some description strips to the photos.

Long time, no posting...lol..... it's been a very busy crazy time....I got home on Monday after a 5 day crop at the OBX in NC.....which I loved every single minute! I managed to get 60 pages scrapped, and another 12 pages put together for page kits....and sorted more pics.....which I feel very accomplished after all this. I will be doing some more weekend crops thru the year and quite a few 1 day crops, so hoping to get lots done this year. My craftroom is still not like I want it...but it's getting there, bit by bit.

Monthly 2022 - Oct - Nov - Dec - Title Page - Setup folders for 2023- Data mine for older years. I'm thinking Netflix and Prime viewing history, movie ticket emails. - Pick an older year to work on this year. Picked 2020 If I could finish 2022 this month I would feel so proud of myself. I need to delete Instagram. It sucks time and makes me think I suck at everything.
I got Oct '22 done after two weeks of working on it. 9 pages for the book. My husband suggested doing 2020. He reasoned that it is most recent so I will remember more.

I have a 5-day retreat at the end of the month - yay for dedicated scrappy time! I hope to complete these pages (they are really all over the place in terms of dates): -Christmas 2022 -Nephew's Marine retirement + floating the river weekend trip from Sept 2022 -Sea World + San Antonio + Galveston trip from 2006 (somehow I just found these pics!) -DS 17th bday pics (I have all other bdays done from 1 - age 20 but missed these) -Thanksgiving 2017 -Some college pics from DS -Other random pics I have set aside to scrap -Valentine/Easter/B-Day cards I usually get around 45-50 pages done during retreats - hoping to get a few more done this time. Reporting back from my retreat! I was able to complete all of the projects listed above except the random college pics. Instead I scrapped some random baby pics of my son and just random pics in general. I completed 60 page (some 2-page layouts and some single sheet) and 34 Valentine's Day cards. I had a great time and feel like I got a lot done! Now to unpack....and do journaling on some of the pages. I typically don't do the journaling at the retreat.

my January goals:
-print the December photos, organise by layout, and get them scrapped - printed yes, organised yes, scrapped? in progress still -pick a trip album, organise the photos, and start scrapping - I organised the Atlanta pics but that's all -transcribe at least one travel journal - nope unless I get to today or tomorrow...not likely -spend at least 4 hours working on labelling and organising photos done -do at least one lesson from the classes I've bought nope
I did scrap January 2023 through the 22nd in the family album, Williamsburg album, and Girl Scout album

I need to do: Project Life from Oct, Nov and Dec December Daily - started but not finished Make Valentines Day cards to mail Make Birthday cards for sister and niece Im glad there's 31 days in January! I am hopefully going to finish most of my list by then. So far, I have finished Oct PL, made birthday cards for my sister and niece, and started Nov PL which I should be done with by tonight. My results:
1. Finish organizing my albums and putting layouts away. I have one box of layouts left to put away properly. I may try to knock it out once the little one goes to bed tonight.
2. Create the next batch of rocket launch pages. All done! The first launch attempt is fully scrapped. Now, for launch attempt number 2...
3. No spend January! So far, so good. š I purchased some enamel dots for my wedding album. I tried to restock in December, but they were sold out. I am glad I grabbed them, as they are out of stock again!
4. I need to create 50 layouts before I can buy any new goodies, so I am ready to start creating. Hopefully a can knock out a few layouts this month. Currently at 9/50.
I am happy with what I accomplished. I finished quite a few layouts in my wedding album, too.
Update: I finished sorting the last box of layouts this evening, woo! I am short one album, so I still have a small pile of layouts, but it is organized and ready to go.

It slowed me down and muddled my brain. I redid the journaling for October twice. Once to add a story and then again to take it out again because it was the wrong month. Sigh. On the plus side I did finish Nov. On to next month goals
