Linda, I am amazed at all the pages you have done this month. You are a Speedy Pea, but we will still claim you for Pokey Peas! I am so glad you got your lenses replaced and that you can now see. Did you make it to 50 layouts so you can shop tomorrow? I hope so! Thank you nylene - I'm not quite there but still hopeful. I'm almost done with a 2-page that'll get me closer! I love that drum set - your cutting and piecing is fabulous! and blue mohawk - I better not show that to DD16, she'll get ideas...and dh is already struggling with her self-made haricuts. I like the stars and apples strewn along the hexagons!

Thank you nylene - I'm not quite there but still hopeful. I'm almost done with a 2-page that'll get me closer! Close enough, Linda . Just tell yourself you can't touch anything new until you hit that 50! LOL That means you can buy, but just not use!

lol nylene - you're just as much of an enabler as my DH is - he said much the same. I am going to try and make it though - 5 pages to go now and I'm pretty sure that finishing up these Hawaii photos will get me there. KI Memories stickers, the camera is an eyelet with a brad - these Hawaii pages are pretty simple because DS's photos are the stars

Photo dump. My usual disclaimer- my photos of the layouts are crooked, not the layout. I need to get a tripod or something. Two versions of the same general sketch. I love this Photoplay paper- so pretty.

Both of these are Not Just for Boys Kits. The second one came with embroidery floss so I did a bit of hand stitching.

The first is Carta Bella. I used a balloon punch for this. I don’t use my punches enough. The second uses Vicki Boutin phrase Thickers and the paper is Basic Grey. I loved that collection- it was so different.

This is the NJFB kit “Nostalgia” that I wasn’t going to buy. I really like the way it turned out. I even found a way to make that red alphabet that didn’t match the other colors work.

This is an old Cocoa Daisy kit. I used to love their stuff but the past year or so hasn’t appealed to me. It came with a water splash stencil and I really like how that came out.

Wow! Ya can't even BLINK and this thread fills up with eye candy! Will be back to comment in a bit. Here is my page for today, a take on October 29th Sketchy Saturday. Also going to claim another F word (Donna challenge), redoing a LO challenge (cannibalized a page with no progress to grab the pumpkin), and punny title (If Fall Over is punny enough?)

Starting my comments on Page SIX where I left off... Linda , that blue snowy background is perfect for highlighting your gorgeous red dress and dh's shirt. He looks very festive in the photo with the red plaid background, too. Awww... glad you took some pic's of Dusty snuggling up with you. And it looks like those kitties know just where to find comfort and warmth. I love how you use colour and little extras like that kitty basket. Speaking of colour, the ice cream treats page looks like a sweet treat itself, and I love how you dressed up the feral pigs page with the florals. On to page SEVEN: Linda , that butterfly page is awesome: looks like you are looking out a window at that wonderful greenery and pretty insects. Sp cool that you ds sends you such awesome photos. Sightseeing ones are often hard to scrap, though. I like how you tucked that journaling card in at an angle, and stacked your title block. I like your different colour choices to back these photos, from the lighter greys through to forest green and the deep purple: they all make the photos shine. Moving on to foliage and florals in the backgrounds will make your book interesting to turn the pages in. And I mentioned the effectiveness of that photorealistic beach scene in the challenge thread. Every detail on each of your pages seems specially chosen for just that spot on just that page. You are really rockin' the blue/greys this month. Love them on your last few pages. It must have been super exciting for your kids to experience snow! Fun photos and great wintery papers and icons. Your cards are amazing, Aheartfeltcard! Love those swirling alcohol ink colours on that first heart, and then the "negative" being used to frame a different heart on a later card: so bright and cheerful. And while that koala is super cute, the almost-cut-through florals add an amazing professional look to that one. The pucker up card is cute, as are the kissy lips, and I love the plaid in that colour. Just a Note is a perfect combo of depth with the embossing and colour with the butterflies, and that white-on-white floral front is gorgeous: stunning cards. Black is the perfect background for that floral wreath. And those little critters are darling: sure to brighten up anyone's day. Love love LOVE that velum leafy branch on the bright teal on your Sending love card. And artbabe , it is good to see you scrapping away! Super use of those papers--which I love--for the Vinyl Christmas and its facing page. Love how you use the neon colours on the girls' night out pages: the half & half with the black is a nice contrast. If there ever was a perfect use for that Wolf Pack line, I think you found it! Not only that fun photo, but the name of the lodge, too! You used those NJFB kits really expertly for those Understory pages. Love the layering and the stitching. If I did not already have a room full of paper, I would be tempted to order me up some more of those kits. I am loving seeing your nephews at different ages on your pages. That Basic Grey is a perfect messy little boy paper. And good job punching those balloons. I have tons of balloon dies and don't use them enough, either. That North High page is amazing! LOVE the design, the colours. Is that house a paper diecut? It looks like metal or wood. Such a classy element and perfect for this photo. Festive Sammy is a cute title. I love how you matted the large mat with the red cs: it really draws the eye in to the photo. And I love how you used the plaid for the more formal photo of him: plaid is the perfect pattern for guy photos, I think. I love all your pages, but I think Splash is my favourite. I love torn edges at any time, but using them like this to tie in with the theme of the photo? Brilliant! Whew! Think I am finally caught up! scrappyrabbit , nylene , there is love on Flickr.
