I did this page for the Lift a Pea challenge, in the Q1 challenges. It is a scraplift of this awesome LO by kitbop : The Common Balding Pond BobberThe things I particularly loved about the Kitbop's page is the overall page design, the layers, the colours, the fun photo, and of course the funny creative title. My title was a play on the name of a reptile that we have here, called a Blue-Tongued Lizard.

I have spent so many hours this last week finishing up organizing my paper. I have a lot. I tackled the final Kallax of papers and now all of my lines have a proper label on a piece of chopping mat. Then I finished another four pages of my sweet pups. I am sitting at 88 layouts for the year. Started a honey moon page for my son and his wife. Can't decide if I want to do the selfies in black and white and one ocean picture in color. They have a lot of bright colors in their selfies.

LOL Linda - it's weird when layouts do that, just won't work until suddenly they click. Love seeing the old KI memories! 950nancy : great job on 88 layouts on the year *and* reorganizing paper! That's a great accomplishment in 3 months. I finished a (gasp) Christmas layout last night. Although Im going to add a bit of journaling around the corner in the lower left, and the date! layout feliz fotobomb by kirstendrew, on Flickr

So much fun to see Peas in their natural habitat. And kitbop, you look just like your avatar! I did get another four pages done. I've been using sketches to match my pictures and it has helped me immensely.

This LO is for @christine68's Q1 colour challenge. I made my own kit using CU templates and brushes for the paper, and recolouring items from various kits. I really love this colour scheme! Here is the colour palette: And here is my layout:

I finished four more pages today. Feeling pretty good about it all. I have four more double page layouts to complete and then all I have left for 2022 is two weddings. I figure that will be 24 pages total and I have an 11 hour crop April 14/15. I'll get some done there. My goal was 120 pages in 120 days. Right now I am sitting at 98 pages in 89 days. I can do it!

I have been so slow at getting back here to look at everything you Peas have been creating. Promise I will be back in the next couple of days... Here are some cards I have been putting together during and after Crop & Create. For most of them I combined the new kit supplies/tools with those already in my stash. The first set were probably closest to instructions. C&C Spellbinders cards by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This second set I followed the instructions, but used my own supplies and added some "floating" balloons with the help of some acetate: C&C pink & Main by Gramma Dee, on Flickr These Easter cards were much more mix & match: POINTS: nine 5x7 cards (135), created & shared (18). P-10 ribbon, P-16 solid cs, C/M--1 colours, T-9 fussy cut bunny, T-10 paper pieced flowers, T-11 op up & shaker, Th-15 bunnies. Total: 160

kitbop and AussieMeg, you have love in the gallery. Linda, I love that butterfly paper on Weekend. The double mats using the butterfly colors are so striking. Looks like a relaxing day!~ Your page that wouldn’t come together (the 3 of you at dinner) came together beautifully. I love that patterned background with the touches of black. The camera is a great touch. ~ Beautiful page of YOU! Very pretty photo and lovely die cut flowers. ~ Those patterned paper on your son’s b-day layout are so cute. I especially love the birthday gnomes. ~ I really like the way you occasionally offset mats behind your journaling on your pink and blue Newport News page. I have tried that but I always go back and straighten them. I know I am too rigid! LOL.~ Simply gorgeous Spring floral page! ~ What cute Halloween cookies. Love the spider web paper and the smiling little spider. ~ Nice grid on Norfolk. The hexagon behind the heart is such a nice, clever little touch.~ Great job on your pumpkin carving pages. I really like the way you used PL cards (or stickers) for your titles. grammadee, your cards are beautiful. You have love in the gallery. This will be my last layout for the quarter. Strike And my last cards for this quarter. Kitty in Teacup

Thanks nylene! I love your bowling page - and is that Eddie? Wasn't he just born? Such a handsome little fella! And those teacup cards - absolutely adorable! beautiful cards grammadeeSuper simple page with a photo of DH's great grandparents (the original was a newspaper clipping so the quality isn't awesome) and a genealogy writeup about them.

Linda, I love the documentation on your page about DH's great-grandparents. Isn't it amazing what information you can find on the census records. (if they are on it). I love draft registrations that give the physical characteristics of ancestors. Your documentation is wonderful. What a wealth of information on these pages. Beautifully done!

Thank you nylene - I've been researching family history on and off since I was 12 and have decided that I need to get my research into a more accessible format (than my genealogy program and bunches of computer files) for my family.
