Have you tried zoodles? I'm late to the game, but really like them (I have celiac). I can flavor them any way a noodle can be with fewer calories We really like these Garlic Butter Steak Bites. We usually substitute chicken, and don’t use as much butter/oil. We also marinate them for longer than 20 minutes. DH used to start the proteins in the marinade, go do a swim workout and then come back to make the rest. Easy meal for a busy night. They’re also pretty good in place of spaghetti noodles when you have spaghetti. For us, no matter what we use them for, it’s important to salt them and let them sit there on a towel for 30 minutes and then wring out the water. Would love to see more recipes that use them! That looks yummy. One way I eat them is I use most of the same ingredients I'd use to make crack slaw, but use zoodles instead of hamburger and cabbage

I forgot to mention that fresh thyme really does make a difference. What’s crack slaw?

I forgot to mention that fresh thyme really does make a difference. What’s crack slaw? it's like eggroll in a bowl. Really, in this case, I use zoodles, gluten free soy sauce, sesame oil, chili pepper flakes, cayenne, and usually garlic, salt, and pepper. Crack slaw for real has hamburger, cabbage and then everything above minus the zoodle.
