My SIL lives in Provo (boyfriend moved for work) and we plan to visit them early this year. Are there any good craft/stationery/scrapbooking stores anymore? Or is everything brick and mortar gone?

nylene lives in the area. I think there's only one scrapbook store there. It might be owned by Echo Park? I can't remember the name! I think Pebbles in my Pocket has a really small store. Maybe this is the only one?

We have all the normal craft stores, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, JoAnn Crafts. Pebbles in My Pocket is at 1132 So. State Street, very easy to find. It is now owned (or operated) by Echo Park. They have fun decorations, ideas, etc. so it's a fun visit. They carry a few Pebbles products but mostly Echo Park. The clerks are warm and friendly. It is worth the visit. I miss the other stores we used to have.
I don't know what is available in SLC. Maybe someone from that area could comment.

In the Salt Lake Valley we still have Heartfelt Hobby & Craft and Mom & Me Scrapbooking. Both are excellent stores.

I'm in the Salt Lake Valley at least once a month --- halfway between both those stores according to googlemaps. I haven't heard of either of these before now. I'll definitely check them out next time!! A year or two ago in Orem there was scrapbook supply outlet type of store in an old Albertsons. They had tables of paper, embellishments, and other supplies. Does anyone know if that's still there?

It is closed and that whole section of buildings is being rebuilt. AC has set up outlets in various places around town in the past. I am hoping they will do that again, but haven't heard anything about it. Echo Park has had a yearly sale at their warehouse location in Orem, but I haven't seen it since the pandemic. They now have the online sales which are not as good as the "in person" sales.

I have never been to Heartfelt or Mom and Me Scrapbooking in SLC. Thanks for the info scrapbookwriter! I think my DD and I need to take a ride to SLC when it isn't snowing. We could make a fun day of it.

There is The Clever Octopus Creative Reuse store in the Salt Lake City area. A thrift store for crafters/artists. It is definitely more art products (think mixed media) than scrapbook products. I don't think I'd go out of my way to go there again like the first time. I bought some thicker stickers and some old stamps. Nothing very exciting.
