I got some Christmas money and decided to try out Lunar Paste as that is something that has been of interest to me for awhile. I got Tripple Berry and love it! Such a nice shimmer. So far it has been easy to use - I got Ranger's pallet knives set as well. Learning how much to use and how to not get it smudged under the stencils.
The only negative (and it is minor) that I have is drying time.
I do not have a heat gun and don't plan to get one as embossing just doesn't interest me anymore. I gave away my heat gun yyeeaarrss ago. Maybe some day I will want to get back into that. But for now, no, so I don't want to take up space with a heat gun.
My question is, can I use a regular hair dryer on a cool/low setting? Has anyone done that?
I need to make cards for DS to give to his friends and it is going to take for----ev----er with dry time. So I was hoping a hair dryer would help speed things up.

I don't have lunar paste but it has been tempting. So i can't compare it to other pastes and their drying time! But usually less than an hour in my experience...
I tried using my heat gun, and it tended to make the pastes bubble and not dry right, so now i just let them air dry. I would think a hair dryer would be safer - if you try it, let me know how it goes!

I thought the lunar paste dried quickly. Like I had to quickly wash my stencil as it was starting to dry before I got upstairs to the sink.

I thought the lunar paste dried quickly. Like I had to quickly wash my stencil as it was starting to dry before I got upstairs to the sink. It dried quickly on my stencil too. But on the actual paper, I think because of dimension, it took about 30 min. I was kind of shocked. It was 63 degrees today and I had the window opened with a slight breeze. So I have no idea. But on the stencil. I scrapped the excess off to put back in the jar, so it was very thing and almost gone.
