The Lots of Love card kit is cute, but $30 to make 8 cards is too expensive for me. I am sure I have enough in my stash to make 8 Valentine cards.

I have no need for the baby kits because I have no idea how old the babies are in their photos. I don't have dates on the back of them unfortunately so it is a guessing game.
I don't really like Over the Rainbow except for the shamrock shapes and the rainbow washi tape.

Doodlebug is cute, but basically unusable for me. I do like the Day to Day and calendar kits though. I think a lot of people are looking for stuff like that and there just isn't a lot to choose from.

I found two sheets of the lots of love paper at my LSS. I made Valentine’s Day cards out of it for the swap!

I got excited when I saw the Day to Day collection, thinking that the stickers for each month would be included. Kind of like a full sized scrapbook page planner. Started imaginine using the monthly stickers on the dated calendar I have. But then I saw that it seems to be set up for first year of a baby's life. Which is a cute idea, but I don't need it right now.
I love Doodlebug cuteness. But very seldom have a use for it...

Love the cup apart card sentiments in Over the Rainbow! Ok that gnome stamp is also super cute and I want it Wish they had die cuts for the line that aren't just journal spots tho.

In addition to the Baby First Year Calendar Kits, the Day to Day collection offers calendar sheets in 12 colors, Months Stickers, & Numbers Stickers sold individually or together in the Rainbow Day to Day Assortment Pack. HTH.

I posted about these number stickers on the PL and DD threads since it's so hard to find number stickers with enough 1s and 2s to work for dates on daily projects. I would've loved these basic date stickers for my PL. calendar number stickersThe Valentine's card kit isn't very good value for anyone who already makes cards IMO - I got the pack of 100+ die cuts and 6x6 pad last Feb and probably made at least 40 cards with it - but I think it would be a nice beginner's project kit, especially as a gift. I can almost always use a Doodlebug collection for cards. My formula is usually to buy the odds & ends image die cut pack and a 6x6 paper pad and a few full sheets of a paper with a good b-side, usually a tone or tone or some hearts. I have some of their cardstock and petite prints and can usually stretch that ~$20 purchase into 30-50 finished cards to give, sell and donate. It's not my style for scrapping but I love it for cards. I am currently chilling though, so I tried not to look at the gnomes and rainbows. That's the Db "season" I buy the least often even though it's adorable. I only plan to buy some paper to use up die cuts I have (currently mostly Xmas, so no hurry). Even as I type this my brain is trying to justify how cute those gnomes would be for Cards for Cubs donations! argh!

Nothing I really want or could use. The card kit as other mentioned is pricey. I've gotten one for free before and it was super nice to use as a scrapbooker, not a card maker, but I wouldn't spend that much on the kit.

I really love the Day to Day collection, but I scrap 6"x8", so it doesn't work for my projects. Bummer. I guess I could chop it up, but I'm thinking I'll just pass.
I have no need for the baby collections, although they are seriously cute.
I love multiple items from the rainbow collection including the cardstock, the Shine Bright Paper, and the Bright Ideas note pad. Gnomes are a hard no for me, but I like the rainbow-themed stuff.
The card kit isn't shipping until February, which makes me nervous. Valentine's Day might be over with before I'd even have a chance to get the cards from the kit made. So that was an automatic "no" before I even looked at the kit's contents, price or anything else.

I have a few random Doodlebug die cut packs because Scrapbook.com gave them out as freebies. LOVE the idea to get a 6x6 pad along with a few sheets of 12x12 and use the whole lot of it for card making. I agree with you that Doodlebug stuff makes awesome cards. Come to think of it, one of the die cut packs I have, I think was last year's Valentine's Day collection (maybe). If it wasn't, it is Valentine-ish, with lots of pink, red and hearts. I love it, but I had totally forgotten about it -- it's buried deep in my stash somewhere. I need to dig it out and take another look at it.

Doodlebug is so darn cute and so darn expensive! I think the Day-to-day would be awesome for giving on overview of a vacation or long special event, but the cutesy colors aren't what I use for those kind of pages.

Thanks This is what I did with (most of) the Lots of Love die cuts and paper pad. Btw because Db keeps their color scheme consistent year to year this year's Valentine collection will coordinate with last year's (and every year's) die cuts. http://instagram.com/p/CafmL04P-Rm

Love those, Jo! Soooooooooooo cute! Those colors make my heart happy. Thanks for the info about their color palette; I did not know that, but it certainly makes it convenient to pick up random pieces from their collections here and there.

I love DB and haven't ordered from them in like 10 years. They are so cutsey. I need to do an album for my son, so I am tempted! The Day by Day could be a fun thing to incorporate into Project Life....

I love the mini number icon stickers in Day to Day. The price seems a bit high at 5.99 for 2 sheets or maybe I just need to get used to the jump in prices in everything. I like the 12x12 calendars, but I don't do enough in a month to justify buying them.

The consistent color scheme thing makes their collections look very similar year after year which a lot of people don’t like but it’s the best for mixing and matching.

The Day by Day could be a fun thing to incorporate into Project Life.... I thought that too, it would make a great monthly divider, with an overview on that page and then all the layouts sitting behind it.

Those calendar pages seem like something I should buy because I might need them later (HA the 'get it before it's gone' mentality of scrapbook buying). The new 'Over The Rainbow' is really cute, but don't know if I would actually use that much of it. I love Doodlebug and have so much I have bought because it's so cute but I haven't used it yet, so I am really trying to slow down the buying train.

I have no idea how I could really use it, but all the clover shamrock stuff us so stinking cute. In addition to amysolovay 's card suggestion, perhaps a "Lucky" layout (e.g. surviving the pandemic, being a parent/spouse, having a special dessert, receiving a certain gift, winning a contest/lottery, etc.) ...I think the Day-to-day would be awesome for giving on overview of a vacation or long special event, but the cutesy colors aren't what I use for those kind of pages. Agreed. Since our travel is mostly to major cities, I wish the collection also included neutrals. I love the mini number icon stickers in Day to Day. The price seems a bit high at 5.99 for 2 sheets or maybe I just need to get used to the jump in prices in everything. ... I noticed some retailers marked all existing inventory to current market prices, although many products' MSRP (& the price at which they were previously sold) are often 10-20% less...ugh!

Awesome cards! I especially like the two cards (Happy Birthday & Just for You) featuring the adorable bear. ... The consistent color scheme thing makes their collections look very similar year after year which a lot of people don’t like but it’s the best for mixing and matching. I exclusively scrapbook & don't gravitate toward Doodlebug's cutesy aesthetic, but appreciate the company has a signature color palette for mixing/matching among collections & wish other manufacturers would adopt the same!

I love Doodlebug for cardmaking so I could see picking up the Odds & Ends and 6x6 paper pad for Over the Rainbow. The Gnomes & critters re very cute! I also appreciate that they keep the colors consistent between collections so it is easy to mix & match!

I like the polka dotted backsides of the calendar pages, but I will pass for now--although I do really like the idea of including them in PL. I just bought some of the less-cutesy sheets from older collections, and a Petite Prints pack with the grid paper. I am going to see how I can work those into my layouts before I declare myself a Doodlebug convert. I usually really like their plaids and stripes, but I need to see how I can make them work with my other embellishments.
