Hi, has anyone purchased products from this site? They're part of the giant e-commerce Pinduoduo (in China) and are located in Boston, MA.
They carry many clear stamps and metal dies (but not a considerable amount compared to Ali Express) as well as other products not related to crafts.
They offer free shipping, etc. They are "considered" a competitor to Ali Express. Their stamp & die prices are reasonable and somewhat comparable to prices on Ali Express.
If you've made any purchases, were you satisfied with the products or did you have some issues?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I just heard about this site yesterday and just now took a quick look. I'm so amused by these word stickers. Some gems: Green meat Grasp all, lose all Who started the game? Cats hind their paws Loves tongue is in the eyes

I keep getting pop up ads for this site on my apps. I'm curious about them too.

I saw a youtube thumbnail something like 'USING TEMU FOR CRAFTING". I thought it was a product so I did not click. After doing a search there were a few more videos to check out for their thoughts, although not all of it was crafting.

YT suggested a video mentioning them but I didn’t watch and then an Instagram ad popped up yesterday… otherwise never heard of them.

I just placed an order for some planner stickers and washi tape. The washi was a set of 18 rolls. I recently bought a set for $11.99 from Amazon, ordered the same set with a slightly different pattern for $8.99 from Temu. Paid via PayPal and they offered free shipping. Supposed to be delivered by the 23rd. For $20 I thought I’d try them.

Yes I've placed a few orders. I've gotten stamps, dies, stencils and diamond paintings - among some household items. ZERO complaints, it came super fast and it's trackable shipping!

Temu is all over YouTube at this point. I've never ordred and probably won't. Aliexpress and Shein are enough for me.

I slid out of the freezer to spend a couple bucks on some nested dies (scalloped circles, rectangles) that are coming from Los Angeles and should be here in a few days. The one thing AEX has over this site is the amount of stuff.. unless you're looking for generic shapes or faux SU! stamps/dies it's way more lackluster.
Free shipping from a US based starting point is interesting to me though.

I skimmed thru 2-3 videos and other than some dies, all I’ve seen is a lot of junk IMO. Junk is junk no matter how cheap it is. ETA: the junk I saw was non-crafting stuff, except for some flowers and stickers. I wouldn't go for those either. Not my thing. At least the kind that I saw.

Just wanted to update and say that my TEMU order arrived Thursday the 26th, ordered on Saturday 1/14, so not too bad turn around time. I was quite happy with my stuff, got a box of 18 washi tapes (not a ton on each roll, but enough for the $9 cost), a packet of 100 figures of young women dressed in various fashions, and another packet of ephemera (I think 200 pieces in this). All are perfect to use in my BuJo, and for $20 and free shipping, I can’t complain. Yes, they Do have a lot of junk, but I’ve seen a lot of papercrafting stuff similar to what I bought on Amazon, and the prices were higher. So of course I had to make another small order for more journal stuff this morning!

Little update on the stuff I bought!
It came.. idk last week sometime, it was definitely within their "if it's not here in xx days it's free" or whatever. So, positives on the time frame! However while my USPS shipping label (the only label I received) was from LA it definitely came from overseas to them, and then packed and shipped again to me because you can see the overseas label underneath the usps one. Thought that was interesting and a bit odd.
I bought a small nested oval, a nested circle scallop, a floral die that would fit on a card front I thought I could paper piece with but seems a bit too small for, a nested stitched/scalloped rectangle that I thought was just a rectangle but it's my bad for not reading because it's actually a frame and said so in the item description, a cover die with an explosion of hearts, and a polka dotted embossing folder.
Everything cuts well for me. I needed a little extra cardstock for the heart cover die as I was having difficulty with the bottom piece not cutting through completely. But once I added that cardstock on top it cut great. The nested scallop circle was the only one I'm a bit worried about over time. The metal is definitely flimsy and thin but everything else felt like a great weight to me.
Like I said previously, for basics like nested shapes this seems great. But their lack of product is the big downside.

I've been hearing privacy concerns about the app that make me hesitate tbh twillerbee just posted a link (in another thread) to this piece about privacy concerns. www.komando.com/kims-column/temu-security-concerns/883861/ Is it much different from any other data company's tracking, cookies, etc? Perhaps, or perhaps not. Most companies are tracking far more specific data about everything we do online than we think. Most of it is just to get the right eyeballs looking at ads that will result in sales. But Chinese companies are subject to different laws about privacy and using your data. The ethics and consequences of buying cheap knockoffs from a huge company were enough to put me off even without the data security questions.

i have purchased a few times and it's gotten me hooked. i get my orders within 2 weeks (as opposed to 1 month+ with Ali Express) and it's been free shipping so far. i've been satisfied with the quality of my orders and you can't beat the pricing. i think Ali Express, Shein, Wish, etc have a right to be nervous right now.

I've been hearing privacy concerns about the app that make me hesitate tbh they can't guarantee our privacy any more than 2peas, facebook, instagram, twitter, and any other website can. everyone says they guard our privacy but the minute we visit any website (even for a second or accidentally), our info is immediately harvested for marketing purposes. even after we reject certain cookies and say "no" to a bunch of things.
